It is an Earth Golem. Partially protruding out of the ground as you can see. Throws rocks, pounds ground to make rocks fall, and punches you as it sees fit. It has slightly above average HP with good attack and good defense, but is slow to move.

OOIA, can you black-outline your sprite? I'm trying to maintain at least a minimal graphical consistency between enemies.

I did black outline it. Did you mean the different parts of it as well as opposed to just outline its shape?

Oh, I see that now.

Hmm, I think it would look better fully outlined, though. If it's not too much trouble, would you mind drawing the outlines so I can compare the two?

I would mostly use black to define the arm as a separate limb more, and some black lines in the middle of where you used thick dark brown lines instead of a 1-pixel wide dark brown line when defining the rockiness of it.

Ok, that's better, but remove some of the black lining on the right side of the body. The black lines look good where you had dark brown lines that were 3 pixels across, but you put black lines where they don't divide very well and flow.

Hmm, it's a definite improvement, though.

I think the golem would look a little more defined if there was more contrast in the shades of brown. As of now, they kind of blend together.

That's easily solved on import, though.

Should we have taken into consideration a certain palette? I didn't.

If you care, the palette is the one used in the latest version of Darkmoor Dungeon. There's no guarantee that I'll be strictly adhering to your palette, however (as in the case of OOIA's Earth Golem, which I might recolor for contrast).

Spawn Of Sun

This son of the Sun has fallen from the heavens, lost its memory, and can recall neither the reason for its head's disembodiment nor the reason for its being on fire.
In its terrible condition fear and confusion, the creature thrashes around the battlefield, decimating those who stand in its path.

This fellow will pretty much have a random array of attacks ranging from attacks that barely hit the heroes to attacks that will actually hurt itself.
Hurting it will actually increase its strength (Some invisible enemy checks for the damage done periodically?).
So I imagine that it can be defeated by allowing it to kill itself as you wait patiently.

Ah herm...At the suggestion of a friend...

...Guess who?
This one will straight out kick your ass.
