Made this last night as a submission for OHR battle. I felt I may as well post it up for people to criticize and comment. It's definately not perfect (The second hero picture is especially flawed) so feel free to give me lots of negative comments.

Looks ok. Though the figure looks a bit wonky. the walkabouts are good. I like the funky walk...

All in all it seems funky/wonky theme... thats my idea. Big grin

I love it. I guess we can't see how they animate, but its brilliance sheerly for the poses you go for. The character has personality and it looks great. He also has balance, and very few OHR characters do.

The walkabouts don't quite measure up, but they look good.

I hate those walkabouts. They lack so much character it's frightful.
And the more I look at that second hero graphic, the more I want to destroy it utterly.

oh, and rpgspotkahn, what exactly do you mean by 'wonky'.

Anyway, thanks for the input!

You ever see the Monty Python clips where the people walking EXTREMELY strange? That's how your hero sprites seem to animate. The change from standing to stepping frame look like he's performing some kind of 'fist to the head" action. The 'magic' and 'hurt' frame are fine though.

It looks like you switched the up and down pictures in the walkabouts.

They look very cartoony. Which is a lot like my style. It looks really good compared to Janken Janken. You've improved.

I keep saying how much I detest the stepping frame. It's nice to know that others feel the same (must remember to replace it before I submit the graphics). btw I love Monty Python.

I only switched their bodies. On top of that I altered the shading on the switched bodies so that the light source didn't switch too.
