This is long-term, but subsilver only works on so many forums. I segust "the greatest community site of all time" gets itself some orignial styles. I think its fairly important.

We are working on one right now. Inferior Minion is working on the style and I'll be doing the "buttons". The new style should look like...that would be telling ^_^. But for real, we don't want to stick with subSilver.

Oh, I remember in 2005-2007 being able to view the forum in a number of aesthetic styles, like a forum skin that looked like old parchment (my preference), night mode ones (which would be my preference now..) and then at some point a big "relaunch" was supposed to happen and before then, among other things, all the non-SubSilver forum displays were destroyed.

Did IM maybe revert some stuff after the forums got hacked? The strange thing is that the Journals are actually themed (but Parchment isn't one of the themes).
I think the reason for that has to do with IM *heavily* modifying phpBB. The gamelist, journals, music list, review etc, were all written by IM, but I believe he did it by extending phpBB itself rather than doing it all from scratch.
