Ok so. I have been playing Final Fantasy III (as in US Nintendo DS III, with Luneth, Arc, Refia, and Ingus) and I encountered the Fat Chocobo, and I was wondering If I could create a NPC "bank" for the player to Store Items not Wanted in the inventory?

Also. Could I make it so in the inventory menu a player could select "sort" and it would put all the items that are weapons together and so on?

You can indeed create an NPC bank for your characters excess items. I'd suggest setting up a complex shop that you can buy and sell your items to for 0 gold. This would require no scripting. You can of course make a bank through scripting too.
The sort feature you mention can also be achieved but only through a great deal of scripting.
