After many months, a few years, and several days, I am finally coming out of the dark, shadowy regions of space to showcase the menagerie of Jur!
Jur is a strange world where an infinite amount of life dwells.
The whole story of Jur will be released when the web page for Facets of The Throne: Blood Summons is finished.
First off, I present to you, the ferocity of the Snag! Aptly named water dwellers who delight in the drowning of helpless air breathers. Once grabbed by a Snag, there is little hope of breathing air again.
Our next exhibit features a brute of the photosynthetic persuasion. Bulbazerkers are strong and their membrane is thick and hard like steel. They get their armor from the heroes they slay who come across their path.
The next monstrosity I am about to show you may make you jump out of your skin...
THE CAGE MAW! These are truly massive beasts with a insatiable hunger for the flesh of things smaller than it. It puts it's food into it's cage-like mouth and carries it to its young, but not until it is finished sucking the energy out of the poor, trapped creature (or person) in it's mouth.
This is the Jester Fiend. It enjoys seeing torture and turmoil and doesn't kill by conventional means. Usually it's victims succumb to their pain and misery and forfeit their life before they are even dealt the killing blow.
A Kentle is an odd thing, indeed. It has no mouth, so it eats using vines which grow from the feet up into the back of the head. It also found an alternative method of communication. If you hear a soft and kind voice in your head begging you to free this creature from its captivity here, please pay that no mind.
A Yuth is a Homin (Human) that is infected with a blood disease that acts more like a parasite. Fortunately it only infects children under the age of 10. When they hit puberty, the parasitic entity takes effect. The benefits of this parasite are super strength, super agility, and super endurance against other diseases. The detriments of this parasite are stunted growth, hair loss (except for the top of the head), and mutated forearms, legs, and feet.
This is a species that is forever young and ever full of ingenuity and inventive proclivities. The Minnekians are playful and spirited and have an undying fascination with machinery and the building of newer, greater works of art. They can solve almost any problem in a pinch situation using anything within arms reach.
And last, but certainly not least, the terrapin people known as the Tumen. Their rich heritage and culture never ceases to inspire us. They are ever the firm believers of the power of Nature and their stout build makes them excellent practitioners of the art of fighting, being that they are so very nimble and sport a nigh uncrackable shell. A Tuman naturally lives many centuries, if they take care of themselves. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Well I've got my eyes on a couple people who are excellent 3D modelers who don't have any work already. They could work for a big company, but they're still in college. Being the more intelligent business man that I am, I look at skill, not college degrees. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Hopefully we'll have our own engine to work with, but much of the concept modeling is probably going to be done with Maya. I know Cinema 4D, but I have a feeling that's not the best program out there.
We're programming it in some weird computer language that I can't remember the name of off the top of my head. Minnek knows, but he's at work. I'll call him tonight after I get home. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...
