When I was building my current project I was using an older version of the ohr to do so. I recently opened it back up in the new one to update the music among various other things. However I never touched the scripts.
When I playtest the game, when a character isn't talking, my hero is freely able to walk around until the next box comes up. This didn't happen in the older one.
And another thing, it keeps giving me weird error commands when I try to re-compile them. On one instance, it says there's an error in line 746 of plotscr.hsd
define trigger, begin...
Don't know what that is supposed to mean. This is even happening with some of my more recent projects... My game uses a lot of the newer scripting commands so it wouldn't be an option to go to the older one. Does anyone have a fix for this problem? _________________ ---------------Projects----

What is the error, exactly?
Make sure you have the most recent versions of both hspeak.exe and plotscr.hsd. _________________

Alright, I downloaded the nightly hspeak, however that only fixed my compiling problem.
In my game, there are some scripts that run while loading the map, but none of them ever state to resume the player. At the beginning of all my cutscene scripts (which are the ones being lame now), there's a suspend player action, however, my hero is able to walk around freely when text boxes aren't up...
This didn't happen in the older ohr, I would realllllly like to know how to fix this.
Haha, nevermind, I haven't opened up this game since January so I didn't remember there was a mountain of bugs to fix before I got back into it. But the new hspeak did help, thanks Moogle. _________________ ---------------Projects----

Gasp, I guess we'll need a testcase. Could you post the game (with scripts and a save file before the suspend player command) somewhere? Maybe bugzilla? _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Also, please test with this version: http://hamsterrepublic.com/tmp/game-r1405.zip (EDIT: link removed for fear of people thinking this is a magical special version that they should test against and report bugs against instead of using nightlies)
it is a slightly older version that does not have a plotscripting change that might have caused this. |

After downloading the right hspeak, I realized that all of the bugs were my fault... Thanks though. _________________ ---------------Projects----
