I would just like to congratulamate Friend for 101 hits on Motherland 1.5. And as far as I know it wasn't even mentioned on a non-OHR site. Definitely a sign of hope for the rest of us as well. Now, not that I'm one to speak, but let's get some more games up there already. _________________ BANDIT REVOLVER, DOWNLOAD IT OR ELSE.

Actually, I advertised it once on a indie gaming message board I frequented . Most of the download counts seem to have come from OHRRPGCE's official gamelist or people surfing through the CP mainsite though.

i advertised my games on my livejournal, which has 60+ people who watch it, most of whom don't use or never heard of the ohrrpgce, so that could be why tilde and zelda doujingeemu (and the others that aren't on the top 5) have a high number of hits. |

Which is why advertisement is a good thing. It seems FFH now has over 600 hits, and that number will jump up even more once I announce anotehr update today (Wow, just like when Halflife gets a patch, EVERYONE immediately goes out and gets it). Also note that TS is slowly holding it position in 6th or 8th place, I can't recall which. Maybe the highest downloads need to be expanded, or have a dropdown menu that lists them by rank?
I've played Zelda doujingeemu... The screen scrolling is a very nice touch. It adds something to the overall feel of it being a Zelda game. I haven't touched Tilde yet, though I definately plan to shortly. |

Heh. I honestly don't know where a lot of my hits came from (For Dimensions I). From the first bunch of people who visited this site, I suppose...
Anyhow. Yeah, one day I saw Motherland and wondered where the heck it came from. I mean, it wasn't there last time I checked, heh. I didn't take much notice of it until I went to the OHR main page and noticed it was recently put up on the game list. I then realised I ought to do the same, and edited my game to link to CP, and lucky for me, James made it so that when you edit a game it goes back to the top of the list.
So that's how I managed to stay in competition after Motherland appeared. If I didn't do that, I'll bet I'd be 6/7th by now, heh. I'd still like to advertise it more, but don't have many places to tell about it that would actually care. But oh well. |
