I would assume this would be more akin to Livejournal, possibly in that you could allow/disallow certain persons to view or even post in your journal. Should a member consistently harrass you, simply kick them from your own journal. I think. |

You are the admin of your journals, Giz. Depending on how much you've messed around with the system, you may have noticed the moderator tools (which don't fully work yet, deleting post by post will work).
You have two options, Giz. Go to the Journal Settings page. Add buddies.
Either you create private and public posts (you'll see the Private option at the bottom of journal posts) or you set your Journal to Private [hidden] and only members of your buddy list can see your posts.
I'm working on banning, Fen. I also plan on Forced Publicc posts, in case you've set up a Private board and want one or two public posts. For now, you can only really limit users by setting your board to Private and adding people you wish to let post. _________________

Hey, who's this? She's not Meteor! Meteor's gonna suffer mascot envy if she has to share the limelight. _________________

No Sexual or Obscene content
Castle Paradox is used by members of all ages. Overly explicit content is not acceptable in any public forums or journals. This includes any images of a pornographic or extremely graphic, offensive nature as well as excessive use of foul language. You will get warned and possibly banned.

In Response to Giz's line about pornography, the following still applies within the art forum:
Fenrir-Lunaris wrote: | If your art could conceivably be judged as "Not Safe For Work", put a [n] in your subject line so we know to look at it later. Also, instead of directly showing your image in question, just link to it instead. Since you guys have already been doing this up until now, I'll thank you for your sensibility. If I find anything out of order here, I'll just fix it for you ok? |
The fact that these rules regarding pornography exist at all implies a certain level of required maturity amoung our userbase, which frankly I have a hard time believing in myself. While pornography popularly focuses on unadorned and unemotional lusts and the explicit depiction of sexual acts, erotica tends to define material with a higher emotional content, the development of place, character and story line, or of an overall artistic theme. In this context, I will allow the latter of the two, provided my previous stipulations regarding about it within the art forum are strictly followed. As for its existence within the other forums, or in private journals for that manner, I stand by the TOS's policy.
If you have any doubts about the nature of something you wish to post, it would perhaps be best to run it by one or two of the Administrative staff beforehand and gauge their reaction to it. If they say not to post something and you do it anyway, I figure that would be grounds for some kind of punishment (considering they had somewhat warned you beforehand). In all fairness, its probably best to avoid the subject altogether. I propose the Grandmother rule In that you post nothing that would seriously offend or cause the premature death due to stroke of one's Grandmother. |

Hi everyone! To answer Moogle (and anyone else curious), Meteor is no longer the only mascot to CP. As IM explained to me, every day of the week will have a different 'Endstar' mascot and corresponding color scheme. They will appear as the following:
Sun-Enpice (NPC) {courtesy of SilentAngel}
Mon-Meteor
Tue-Wave
Wed-Drop
Thu-Scatta
Fri-Ring
Sat-Cast
There are desktops of them (sans Enpice) in my website. Hope you like them folks (and to answer future speculation, Cast is male). _________________ If you hit a plane with the soccer, could you afford to fix it? - Shaolin Soccer

An Endstar to be blunt is what the title of the characters I made up. It was originally for a game universe I created currently shelved. _________________ If you hit a plane with the soccer, could you afford to fix it? - Shaolin Soccer

How do I associate a song with a game like Velduanga did with Crescent Dream? |

I did that manually, but the interface is being worked on. Early next week, you should seee a link that says "Add to Game" below the "Preview:" text in the Song List.
Tell me if I'm wrong here, but I think it'll be easier to find the song in the song list, click "Ad to Game", and then select the game from your gamelist as opposed to going to "Edit Games", clicking Add Song, then finding the song in the song list. If you can think of another set of steps that seems more intuitive, let me know. I've been trying to think of an easier way of doing it, but that's the best I came up with. It'll probably seem a bit tedious if your Sound Track contains plenty of songs.
This is also why I haven't created the Song Entry page. When it is done, it'll have a list of games it's featured in. If you're looking at Crescent Dreams, that last column will be a place for a short note, like 'Battle Music" or whatnot.
In any case, that feature is fully functional and will be released very soon. _________________
