"And governors are made to help the community and not talk them down right?"

That's stupid. When I told you I hated HQ2's story and it was unfixable, you thought it was the end of the world. However, when Uncy tells me he hates most of my games, I shrug it off. In the same manner, there are plenty of people who get their first time warning, learn from it, and never cause trouble again. And then there are those individuals who view the warning as a personal attack on them and spam up the boards, send ops insulting PMs, and try to walk all over people because they think they can get away with it. So we have to take action.

In short, just because you think an op is being harsh doesn't mean he is, and quite frankly, someone whose trying to get head from local high school whore shouldn't be preaching about the moral greys of handling a situation, Red. You see nothing wrong with doing that, but I'm sure many people on the boards would disagree with you. Get my drift?

CN brings up a good point (as does Uncy...basically the same point). Sure, people here are jerks at times, but that doesn't mean you need to take offence to everything (yeah, I know, I'm one to talk about this Raspberry!). Shrugging stuff off is part of life. Just because someone says something you don't want to hear means they are an irrational jerk.

Then again, there are plenty of people who are irrational jerks, and that's why we have admins.

I think people should just remain calm. Getting hyped up over a stupid thread is really stupid, and gives you a bad name.

*PHC. I loved that tread. It was so funny (though, a bit blasphemous{Spelling...})

PHC's thread was really funny and cool. It was a thread where even the more "serious" people could have taken a breather and joined in on the useless and stupid comments.

*I really enjoyed that "Hi, Im a girl and Im new" thread. It went on for long, but everyday I logged in, there was something for me to laugh about. And join in the fun.

Admins should probably consult each other before making irrational desisions. Some are more serious than others and need the opinion of a slightly more "down to earth" admin to make the right choice.

;Here endeth the lesson;

Wait... what happened? I'm never on when the fun stuff happens. >_>

I do think the ops are a little... crazy here for the most part. Not gonna name any names, but that's the way I feel.

Red, you have to take into account that Leroy has had a handful of chances, and has been around for about three years, but he still posts like he got here yesterday. His intentions may be good and all, but his execution is maddening.

I have been in this comunity for only a little over one year, to tell the truth. It has taught me so much. I thank you all for being you, and being there making it possible for me to improve myself over this short amount of time.
Also I feel that being in a comunity (especially this one) helps anyone become a better craftsman/woman and artist. Just don't let what some people say get to you. The secret is omnificence.

However my harshness with him may frustrate you, his posts frustrate me even more. Amnd it's not like I'm the only one who feels this way, either, it's just that I'm the only one who's vocal about it.

And don't worry. I understand where Uncy is coming from. I make many dumb posts. I have become more self conscious about it too. I have stopped many posts from being posted by me. I will do my part to make a better and more friendly community.

Actually, we do have a board specifically for admins to discuss ideas and issues before they are acted upon, and we do make use of it. Although I'll be honest and admit that sometimes CN and Uncy rub me the wrong way, I still believe they are good with what they do, even if we don't completely agree.

As the song goes (even though I have no idea who sang it): "It takes every kind of people to make the world go 'round".

Okay, Leroy, I guess I was confused by the fact that Turtle Quest is in the O:OHR review archives, but a year's still quite a bit of time.
And, Setu, oftentimes you rub me the wrong way, too, but hey, that's all a part of the human condition.

It's all good, though. Sometimes it's just a conflict between personality types.

I can vouch for that.

Let's put our differences aside, but certainly not forget them. We can think of what common ground we have. Like me and Unc, for instance. We both like to write and draw (literature and art in general). Often times, if you can find common likes with someone, relations between the two will get better.

I had no idea the users were getting warnings. I'd vouch for the whole three strikes you're outta here technique. Still, what Unc said to Leroy was just blunt and mean. I can understand the frustration of some of the things the users say, but to take it out with "SHUT UP!" You could still insult them, just not as arrogantly. And rather than insult them, ban them for like a week and see if that does anything. But hey, I'm here to make the rules, I'm just posting suggestions.

Just outright banning him without a warning would've been goofy. I admit it might've been better if what I said was in a PM, but, seriously Red, you're blowing this way out of proportion.

And what's wrong with being blunt? You want me to hide behind pretty words and falsities so people have no idea what I'm trying to say?

I think we try and put this all behind us. And try to start anew. Uncys had his moments that sometimes hes not proud of and leroy and most of us out there have had ours. Lets not bring them up anymore, we have all learnt from them now.

By the way.
