I disliked TaoMeow if only for the fact that the game was so slow that by the time the overpowered enemies killed me, I had lost any interest in watching those ATB bar fill up again. Also, it had thousands of spelling and grammatical errors which were annnoying. The intro did look cool though.

About the 'no new idea' thing: Wake up. Humans have only been around so many years- there are plenty of new ideas; nobody has bothered to think outside the shell. It's mainly because of commercialism. People like X, so people sell X instead of thinking up Y.

Really? That's disappointing, but I guess I can see why that would happen. It sorta does target a young audiance, and some odd mistakes and bugs sotra made the gameplay a little difficult. But I've never gotten a negitive responce from anyone would could play through it. I guess I got a little too many people who got fustrated with it. Ha ha ha! That's okay. My bet is that even if people get fustrated with this new game, they won't hate it. Plus, I'm about half way through to a decent demo. Big grin Unfortunately, school starts again tomorrow, and I'm at the most difficult part of the demo, so I don't know when I'll get it up. but I promise, there won't be much disappointment.

note: and as you can guess, I'm not a great speller, and I'm way too lazy to fix the mistakes I see. Rolling Eyes But at least I learn how to spell correctly after realizing the mistake. Oookay...

but there are no new ideas. You can't possibly have a new idea because, there are none. There is no such thing as a new idea. All you can do is take the same old idea and do new things with it.

But isn't an old idea done in a new way still a new idea of how to do the old idea?
(a free coke to anyone who can decipher that)
Anyway, who was it that said that the only people who use that line are evil english teachers?

Back on topic, my problem with TAO:Meow was basically the same as JSH's. I thought there were some great features in it, like the scenting and the little waiting animations. Good luck on your new project.

That is ENOUGH! if there's one thing I can't stand is prevertedness. This ends now. If you must contuinue this off topic, off decent conversation, PLEASE do it in a more appropreate thread, NOT here. Pissed off!

also, JSH, only the first set of enemies and boss is overpowered. I made it that way so that you had to think about using your resources. if you can make it through that battle, I hate to say this, but the rest of the battles in the game are as easy as holding down the space bar. (I know, someone's done it to me before, the most disappointing thing to do to someone...) that is, unless you participate in the tournament. That place was designed to give you a fair challange provided you can match your opponet's level.

Dear God! Not a vague, metaphorical reference to male genitalia! Sexuality is not natural, people! It clearly has no place in casual conversation, especially when you're making hysterical jokes.

The lack of speed still would have made me discontinue playing.
Maybe if the game were turn-based I would have enjoyed it more.
