It is not difficult to attach a fake email address to an email, you just have to have something that supports it.
What about the other (respectable) community members who have gone around spreading the contents of the email as truth? Either they recieved similiar emails and fell for the 'prank', or they are in on it.

| I think i'm gonna side with redmage on this 1, ever since i joined he's been pleasant and nice to me, plus i cant imagine someone being so retarded as to cover up their tracks so badly-which for me spells set up in big, bold, flashing neon letters |
