I've decided, after much debate, that the current weapon and armor system of Vikings is a bit too confusing and complicated as it presently stands. Ergo, I've redesigned it so each warrior can only use ONE type of weaponry (the Warrior uses longswords, Ranger has axes, Valkyrie has spears, and so on). This leads to the next problem that there's not nearly enough weapons now to go around, perhaps 5 or six per hero. What would be useful is to have a short listing of "famous" OHR weapons to make a tribute to.
As an example, Bob Surlaw's "Crisis Sword" appears to be a longsword with a number of smaller blades projecting from it. It bears a strong resemblace to a coral sword - so perhaps it's effective against aquatic creatures? What of its name - does it have a special function when its wielder gets low on HP? perhaps it has a low chaining rate to an attack that does more damage the weaker you are?
Also the sword of Jade - it's apparently either a katana or a rapier (rapier more likely on account of the pommel), with a green hue. In the game it's from, it's power seems to come from it's user's own life force, (the weapon is cursed!) so perhaps it deals incredible damage at the expense of the user's HPs. Since it's cursed though, it should be extra effective against "holy" opponents like angels, and gods.
Finally Powerstick man's "stick". I have no idea what it does, aside from providing extra long freshness. |

The Shilleligh(sp) from Wandering Hamster, if anyone uses rods/staves, is a good one. _________________ A broken clock is still right twice a day. |
