Decided to use a journal to record my progress with this curs-ed thing. Right now the game is in development with a 'beta' suffix. It's not like the beta part means anything significant though. Everything that people wanted fixing is fixed. I added a crippling amount of extras (Including a toy machine that can spew out over 130 different plastic figurines at 25yen a pop). Currently I'm adding more cutscenes.
You can all expect to see the update in around 6 months. _________________

Wow. This sounds like it's going to be awesome. Sounds very humorous too. WHY HAVEN'T I PLAYED THIS YET???

Oh jeez. I've been forgetting to keep this updated.
I've mainly been fixing bugs and exploring the new OHRRPGCE updates recently. I can't commint myself to making any significant headway until I find ways to integrate the new features (like giving your chickens actual names and visiting other people's gamesaves)
(I also left my laptop at home when I started university . oops!) _________________

Ach aye! I understand. I've left things behind when I moved before. And I am also having trouble finding time for my hobbies because of school and other distractions. May the wind be ever at your back. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

These are just to prove that I AM making progress with this
A rather boring title screen. I've taken a rather odd artistic direction as regarding to the artwork. I assure you though that I am improving the style little by little. Hopefully it will be passable by the time the game is finished.
Slight alterations to the menu screen
The ripped map graphics are now all but gone, and the new walkabouts are actually blending in quite well (but that must surely be the largest TV ever created)
Look! Look! A working train/tram thing!
This screenshot is from the figurine collecting subgame. Basically you pop money into the toy machine and you get a figurine to add to your collection. There are a stupid number of figurines to collect so I'm considering having all the save files share the same figurine collection.
This is the new shop menu. All the items are ordered neatly into catagories for easier browsing.
I'm still working on this, but when it's finished you'll be able to go night fishing at the beach!
I'm really hoping to release the beta version soon because the alpha one is starting to look decrepid by comparison. |
