So for the past couple months, I've been stopping in on IRC and talking to some people that remember me, but I figured it was time to make a post about it. For those who can remember back far enough, I'm the artist formerly known as Foofeynono.
It's really hard to believe that the old Zant boards were four years ago. If anyone is still around from then, you probably remember me as the self-declared King of Duhh (also known as the worst forum ever conceived) and subsequently the creator of HellGames Forums, which were really quite nifty for a while until I made too many people (who knew nothing about running a forum) admins and watched the entire board get destroyed in something not unlike the final battle in Matrix Revolutions, but with more smilies.
Since I stormed out in a firey rage, claiming the board was run by hateful people (and now that I look back, most of the mods and admins could've done a much much better job), a lot has changed. For one, I'm now one of the chief admins of a surprisingly popular site, MFGG.net. We got a mention on G4's Attack of the Show once, so that's saying something. And spending 200 GB of bandwidth a month is pretty good too.
As for my personal life, I've been doing surprisingly well. I'm a junior in high school now, and I basically have a guaranteed entrance to Notre Dame University (I'm also gonna shoot for Washington and Lee University too). I've become a pretty prominent local musician (go trombone!), and I've already made quite the money from gigs I've played, which I then blew on upgrading my computer so I could play Doom 3.
I have, though, finally started work on a game that I said I would do since the Game Design board on Zant. In the time that I haven't worked on it, I've been ironing out the plot, and I think it's pretty good. Of course, it's a Mario fangame, seeing as how I run a Mario fangame site, but it's... different.

And that's it really. I'm not dead, and I'm hopefully not a noob anymore.

I don't care what anyone says, The Duhh Forum was some good times. Stupid as hell, yeah, but it was a classic. |

It took me a while to realize that thing had absolutely no rules, including joke accounts. I think I was expecting it to be Structured Fun Zone instead of a free-for-all. |

That's a pretty nice Luigi/Doom mix you've got there. |

I always sort of resented the Duhh forums, because right after they came out, they shut down Killing Xylophone Horses. But, once White Mage came around, casting "LIFE TWO!!!" on threads, I found that my heart had a place for Duhh after all. |
