Hey kids its your firendly neighborhood Battleblaze.I've recently been working on a game called CP Vs. its an idea I finally need to go through with. Part of the reason I'm releasing it is to clear my name. When I first joined and released my Loz game it got an F- right away. I admit it wasn't awsome.But it never really sucked to th f- point.F- is a no ingles game. LegendOfZelda SwordOfGods was worth a D but I dun't think a ny one bothered to get past the first dungeon.But shitty games aside. I failed to make my christmas deadline.But I feel morally obligated to give some updates.

Overall:The game is going nicly with a linear storyline thats pretty involving (as in you want to know what happens next). The cuttscenes are pretty unique to anthing ever done with OHR (animated-ish). The battles are balanced and fun (criticals and finishers).And the charecters are pretty interesting(it'llbe fun to see what you end up lookign like)

DETAILS

Story: You are a mysterious hero that is found unconsious in a forest. The events take place after the war between IM & CN that basically destroyed CP (I wrote it during that whole ordeal no hard feelings). The game jumps right into your efforts to thwart CPs constantly annoying foe. The Noobs. But afterwards you(the hero) meet up witht he admin and learn the KP (kingdom paradox), is falling apart. The seperation of the googleplex crystal (super power source) is causing the kingdoms firewall to wane away and let the monsters in. Not only that but Rinku (CP's equalivalent of yoda) feels a huge dark force approaching, possibly the reemergence of CN. And with IM MIA the forces of good will need all the power they can muster (that means you need to get the crystal).

People:The real members of CP will serve for the body of the game.Everyday I come up with new ideas.Nobody should really feel like they got the low end of the stick.All the charecters are pretty damn cool.

Presentation: With all the backdrops the filesize is sure to be big. But I guess everyone needs to get over it. Using my watchttvtodamnmuch powers I'm saying its animated with the quality of an 80's cartoon show.Not to many frames.But there shouldn't be any solid colors, values and patterns are a go. There's some basic plotscripting but really its all NPC movement and such.

CP. Vs. Battleblazes? Let's start with Giz vs. Battleblazes. You're a stupid bastard who oughta climb into a tree and fall out of it. Monkeys make better games and have better ideas than this garbage, and any man who says No Ingles games deserve F-'s oughta be flogged a couple of times. Do you know what flogging is? Trust me, you'll like it. Bring me a 2x4. The No Ingles games don't aspire to greatness, but they usually have at least one scene or two that redeems them in my mind. They're not made to be A+ type material, and they don't mean to be any better. They like F-'s. Your game was a complete and utter travesty against God, Jesus, and this very forum, and the fact that there was more than one dungeon makes me just want to shoot myself that much more. Suggestion from one game designer to another, fall off a bridge.

You know, I've calmed down now a little. Let me tell you WHY I'm upset at you. You're sitting here telling us we're wrong to give your game an F-, and then going on to tell us how great this new game of yours we haven't seen hide nor hair of. Quit telling us about the damn thing and make it, and then we'll tell you what we think. So far all I can remember seeing is some concept drawings, not even any actual in game shots, and a bunch of posts and threads like this telling us how awesome the whole thing's going to be. Put up or shut up!

And as for not setting a deadline, I think that's a little bit foolish. Set a deadline, but make it a reasonable one. Estimate how long it's going to take to make everything, put it together, and give yourself a few weeks on top of that, and then say if nothing goes wrong. The reason people don't like Fyre's deadlines is, he went on and on for FIVE DAMN YEARS with posts like this, occasionally citing a deadline.

Battle, I think you're wasting away your enthusiasm on the game by pimping it up, but, if I may offer a suggestion, instead of making a post like this, where you tell us the story and everything, make a few posts. Post in the game design forum, and tell us what you're doing gameplay wise to make us excited. Post on the art forum and show us some graphics, an example of this enticingly animated thing. Post on the story time, and give us an example of the game's story in an actual story format, not just a script style "The game starts here, blah blah, you do this, blah blah" type thing. That's how you get good publicity for your game, and how you get people genuinely excited.

I'm not going to apologize for the first paragraph, because I said it and meant it. Do something to make me regret it, please.

As many as possible hres a list of what i can remember so far.

Rinku=Yoda like elder of admin council
Shadowiii=High powered ninja and head of CP special forces
Setu=Cool headed samurai and leads the police force
Fennir=Big big wolf-man.Cp's connection to naturish stuff
Squall=inspector of sorts. Keeps things ship-shape
Misteroo-Cat-thing mostly never there and appears at random
note:Most of the admin were killed in the CN&IM war.

Normals

Gizmog=Runs the IRC club (biggest party in CP).Possibly runs some gang activity
Flamer=Runs the bounty hunting central.Occasionally takes time off to kick ass.
Nathan Karr=Traveler who broke the law for the right reason and is always on the run (making of a good side mission)
DomGallo=Large Tiger-man (based off LueBoo from adventures of battleblaze <failed game>)Looks liek my avatar.Works for Giz as a sarcastic body gaurd.
Slime= Skinny coyte-man.Works as a body gaurd for Giz and serves as the moe of three stooges.
Jazzman=Local newswriter/mudslinger.Good at spying (for money) and barfights (after he spends the money and gets mad).
Gilbert=A bounty hunter, what else.Can down more beer than Jazz but not as much as Giz.Best Barfighter in the internet.
MikeCaron=Local Wizard.His past is shady, and he dosen't live in the city part of KP, but he's friendly and can make some amazing stuff.
Note:Stuff is made out of data, which is the currency in KP.
Moogle=And odd little creature that lives in a hut in the woods.He isn't that tolerant of peoples idiocy so when he comes out he's usally mad. He likes to work on his own little projects that turn out to be magical or blow up in his face (another reason for living in the woods and being mad).

^All the people anmed are just the normal residents of KP.In reality there are many more.But they really just hangaround and basically do normal things (the people who use the clubs bars apartments etc)
If your name isn't up there you are
A)Just a passive charecter
B)In a diffrent zone/country/relm ex:ForceTraning,Noob,Vets,Banned/Hell,Or somewhere int he choas of the outernet.

Other user groups I'll post later to see if anyone cares.

Well its not liek theres gonna be a shortage of charecters.I'm gonna sqeeze in all the actrive members I can.Old,shiity people or what have you. I mean you're in it.You just don't reside at KP.I didn't feel liek talking about ALL the people at once. Besides everything is still in the ptty stage and still taking shape.I can keep forming or smash it up. Smokin'

Ya I shoulda guessed Dom was Giz but eh. I'd still like the charecter to stay in the game though.

I even posted a No Ingles game as Dom, and no one called me on it. I don't think anyone even cares anymore, which is a shame because I'm still trying to be a good troll. By the way, why the hell is Rinku on the admin list, Battle? He's not an admin, he's not even very active in the community, and he sure as hell isn't any Yoda type.
