I'm not sure about this, but it seems many games have fallen to the wayside. If it can be done, here's a challenge:
finish or create a game based on the original concept provided by the
person who was going to make the game.
examples:
Final fantasy H-2
Final fantasy- Femmes fatales
or whatever... you get the point.

I've had something brewing in a similar vein to SMASHing Adventure for a couple of years, starring Ersatzes instead of the actual game characters.

Hmm... I've had so many unfinished games/ideas... not sure if any of them would really be possible for someone else to make, though. Most of them aren't really games that would work well with the "post short description of the concept, then someone makes it" thing.

I actually would like to see if somebody could actually make a decent game based on The Kirby Lands or one of its planned-but-never-made sequels, though. Considering how bad the original game was, it's entirely possible that a "fan sequel"/"fan remake" would turn out a lot better. It'd probably be a buttload of work, though, for a lot of different reasons (mostly related to the weird setting, and also some of the specifics about certain enemies/characters)... you can't just slap a bunch of generic fantasy RPG humans, elves, and anthropomorphic whatevers in a game and then go around calling it TKL.

Heh, now that I think about it, that might actually make a good idea for a contest. "You have however-many months to make a non-awful remake/sequel of The Kirby Lands. Winner gets... absolutely nothing! But hey, you managed to make The Kirby Lands not suck, and that's like breaking a world record or something, so just be proud of that."

I guess the prize could be slimebucks, since I've got a lot of those that I rarely ever do anything with... but that'd cause problems if somebody who isn't on Slime Salad won, so... I dunno. Guess I can work that out when (more like "if," really) I make this random crazy idea into an actual contest.
