It's not original (it's A Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum - not a GREAT band, but definitely not given their dues overall from what I've seen), so I couldn't put it on CP. It is the shortest and most obvious I suppose, so if you'd like, James, I can probably make a bugzilla bug out of this and attach it as a test case. Or maybe I could just email it to you'd if you prefer.

Bugzilla would be best

Also, is this reproduceable in the music import screen in custom, or does it only happen in game?

I constantly forget to post this, but whenever I try to edit text, the Apostrophie and Quotation key will not give those characters, but instead put an 'e' and such instead.

This wasn't tested on the latest RC, but it has been persistent through several versions, as I though it was a simple error that would have gotten fixed quickly.

EDIT: Tried it on RC11. Still doesn't work right.

That may be a problem with your keyboard. I tried it on RC9 just now and it works for me.

This sounds like something specific to your keyboard layout. What kind of keyboard do you have? Something other than a generic US layout?

It uses a Querty layout, and in anything other than OHRRPGCE, I can type " and ' just fine.

I hope you mean QWERTY.

Do you have an extra keyboard you can test with?

Oops. Yeah, QWERTY.

I just tested with a PS/2 keyboard, and then it began working.

The previous keyboard I was using was USB.

Well, most keyboards are qwerty. I have a Japanese keyboard that is qwerty. But some keyboards have subtle differences in keyboard layout, For example, when I was in Britain, all the web cafe's had keyboards with all the letters and numbers in exactly the position I expected, but a handful of punctuation symbols were swapped around.

Your operating system has a keyboard map that compensates this, so other applications will always have the right keys, but the OHRRPGCE uses raw scancodes, and is unaware of any keyboard maps.

I remember in Hungary the keyboards had a few things swapped. I think it was the "y" and the "b" keys, but I don't rermember for certain. This might not be a bad feature to add if possible. Then again, might it break scripts using some of the key commands?

PS: I finally put the bugzilla thing up and the test case. I said it there, but might as well say it here too: the songs hiccup in custom's music import menu as well as game, so if no one else has noticed this, it must be something about the midi. Maybe bam2mid uses some of these advanced looping features you suggested when it converts...?

Okay, the final ubersetzung
release is up!

My apologies to anyone who has a bug that didn't get fixed this time.
