lol, that WOULD be cheating, but if your honest enough, you can try and go by the rules, and if you cheat and I don't realize it, then I don't care, I know there's nothing I can do about it and you're the one that'll feel guilty and be an @sshole. Ha ha ha!
(no offence people) Oookay...

Let's say that some member of the community agrees to draw up a single screen or perhaps even two or three screens to allow a simple animation. Would this break the "no teams" rule?

I doubt I'll even get someone to draw any of the animations for me, but just wondering, in case I do.

Well, I guess it's fine, but that's the limit.

^ Cool. But it is rather unlikely that anything of the sort will be happening, I'll probably just end up sticking with the one ripped screenie for a while.

Why do I feel that Gizmog is going to enter something to make fun of this contest?

I might participate in this, but don't get your hopes up.

STFU noob. Nobody loves you, Ysoft.

Back to the contest at hand though, if you don't mind my asking, why aren't groups allowed? IT seems a pretty tall order for one guy to do all this in a period of what? 3 months?

Well, I figured that almost ALL the contest are in teams, so I wanted to do something different.
I dunno any other reason actually, anyways, I think that 3 months is enough to make a game with special scripts and a good story, I mean, I'm not saying it has to be "60 hours of gameplay" or something, it could be a VERY short game, as long as it has a story behind it and special scripts or etc... you know the rest...
Happy

Don't worry, Ysoft. I love everybody. Happy

And to Gizmog... A game with special scripts and a good storyline doesn't seem that difficult, especially since we've got til February or something. Like Madsoft said, it doesn't need to be all that long. Mine will be a demo probably. My only problem would be convincing myself to get off of my lazy ass and actually work on my game, but I doubt that's true with everyone else.

I don't care if anyone here loves me or not, its their problem.

As for the game, I already started drawing tiles. I do hope I can make something out of it(haven't touched ohr in a while).

I was referring to the "Nobody loves you, Ysoft" part.

Anyway, are multiple entries ok?

I would like to participate but I'm not too sure if I could. I'm so busy creating tiles for my current project. I think a demo would be okay if I have a chance to do it within a short period of time...

Hopefully not too off topic, but I don't think that becoming 'olbies' is dependant on how long you've been a member of the community. Neutral
