I am using the latest WIP version, and I am having trouble with using sounds. Specifically, the problem is that the first sound that is played replaces all sounds in the game until you restart. I read that this problem should have been fixed. I even went into the Plotscript.hsd file and allowed "free sound" and "load sound" and used those commands, but it still didn't work. I am out of ideas.

What am I doing wrong? I have coded:

play sound (sfx:night,false,true)
stop sound (sfx:night)
...
play sound (sfx:boom,false, false)
stop sound

but the night sfx plays for both. I want my game to use sound effects like Friend's 'Missing'. Thank you.

Whenever I try to import sounds, the thing just crashes. Sad...

Wish I could help more, though.

I assume that both of you are testing with http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/nightly/ohrrpgce-wip-default.zip yes?

Could you please try http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/nightly/ohrrpgce-wip-fb-sdl.zip and let me know whether your respective bugs happen the same way?

EDIT: woops! Hey! I just noticed that the nightly builds have not worked since october 23! That is probably why you are having problems. I really need to find some better box to do the nightlies on than the craptacular win98 laptop I have been using

EDIT: Okay, nightly builds are fixed. Please re-download and test to see if your problems are gone
