Heh, not bad, what can I say, that game has amazing graphics(especially tilesets).
But, not to worry, anyone who wants to be on a top must make something that deserves that position.
I hope someday, one of my games will be on the top.
I really have been lazy with ohr, perhaps I need to go back to it. _________________ Try my OHR exporter/importer.

My sentiments exactly. (Though I think for awhile Darkmoor was #1 for downloads, SMB retook the lead later.) _________________

| The only thing I don't like about people downloading Jade this much right now is they're still downloading the horrible MS-DOS OHR. It still includes a VDMS installer! |

In other news, A6's downloads are crushing Fyre's server (where I keep a mirror). Rpgcreations.com will likely be down tomorrow if the rate of its downloads continue. Studioeres.com will last a bit longer. It's a good thing I didn't decide to use my rinku.castleparadox.com subdomain for another mirror to A6.
But yes, I agree that you can get any game downloaded if you advertise it enough. But it's also true that you have to advertise a bad game more than a good game to get the same number of downloads. _________________ Tower Defense Game |

Coincidentally, just days before RPGCreation games showed up on that fullgames.sk list, my request to increase CP's upload/download speed finally went through. As a result, CP hasn't been lagging while the downloading continues.
For those curious, CP is now running on 3000/768 kbps DSL. _________________

If I could just ask, how is this not considered a post count thread? The only real content is Rinku saying "HAY GUYZ, MY GAME IS COOL IN EUROPE! " (That wasn't meant to insult Rinku, per se. It's just my personal theory he'll start using z instead of s, and HAY instead of HEY to try and sound more human. Hell, he's already using emoticons.)
I at least promised to get banned, what the heck is Rinku going to do in this thread to make the community a better place? |

It can be considered site news because of the huge amount of downloads relative to what cp normally gets. Besides, I didn't know it was europe that was causing it until after I made the post, and they aren't my games, so I don't see where you're getting the 'my games are popular in europe' purpose from. _________________ Tower Defense Game |

Actually Giz, this thread brought about an interesting idea regarding game downloads: http://www.castleparadox.com/downloadreferrers.php
Obviously, that's just a test script to see what the referrer data looks like. I would like to add the referral information directly to the game info pages.
I also plan on implementing a similar list for links to the game information page (in case a website links to the listing rather than straight to the download). _________________
