I just recently drew this pic of Edward Elric. Creative criticism is badly needed and wanted.

P.S. I already know that his hands don't look great.

I don't think it's Ed's style to wear loose clothing.
Every time I've seen him, he's wearing tidy collars and such.
But otherwise, it looks all right so far. Let's see some color!

Might just be me, but his legs seem really spindly. His waist is also pretty narrow, considering the size of his torso.

* His eyes look girlish. It's probably the line you drew right above his eyes, which are too thick and too close to his eyes making it look like he's wearing makeup or something. They should've been drawn more lightly at least.

* The problem with the hands is that they look like squid tentacles, and the nails are awkwardly placed and tiny. Hands take practice to draw, and it helps to simply draw the hands the way you want it by using your own hand as an example.

* The two lines going diagonal between his legs where his zipper should be makes it look like he's got an itch on his crotch, plus the fact it doesn't look like he's holding his jacket. You should get rid of those two lines or everyone is gonna see a guy scratching at his balls.

* His legs are disproportioned to his body. They look like an anorexic girl's legs. Since he's wearing pants, making the width of the paths larger will fix the problem.

I don't think his shoulders are that broad. Might want to slant the line a bit.

Well you can definately draw hair better then I can, but you need to learn how to draw better hands. and yea, I agree with the above posts, the eyes are too girlish.

on an off-topic sentence, who is Ed? I read a lot of manga, but still. I am guessing he is from full metal alchemist(I haven't read the manga yet, but I recongnize him from one of the pics I saw of the manga, although yours is a bit off.) Seems he is pretty popular with cp girls, you are the second fan I seen.

ps: just to be sure, this is the guy you are trying to draw, right?
