So I'm starting up work on my game again, and first off I'm trying to get alot of random yet unique looking NPCs done. What I really need to get them unique is hair, and so far i've only got a few for the male and female human races.

Here's what I have so far:

What I'm looking for is anybody who'd like to submit some of their own ideas. These ideas will most likely be used in the game if I feel they are 'worthy' enough.

a.k.a. not this: http://www.dbnet-fr.com/zuka/img/bonus/01a.jpg

For the humans, I'd like just normal hair, can be fancy if you'd like. Elves, make it fancy. Orcs, I'm not really sure, make it brutish, braids, add horns.

I don't want hair necessarily for the beast races, except for the cat of course. Make something up that corresponds with the race. Reptile give horns, bird give strange feather designs.

by the way, males are on the right, females on the left. beasts on the bottom.

The hair isn't too bad for any of them, I think you need to have a spiky hair one for the guys. Girls too if they happen to be not that feminine Raspberry!

Speaking of the female faces, I noticed they're slightly smaller than the male head, but to make it more female, at the bottom, you could trim it out a little where there is pixels like this on the left side:

O
OO

to

O
__O

It'll make it look smoother, unless you intend to keep it the other way. Hope that helped.

Do the beasts not have males and females? Or are they just not noticeably different to us?

I assume the black dots on the females' eyes are supposed to be eyelashes, but they really just look like they're all sad. It would still give the appearance of eyelashes without making them look sad if you took off the top dot and just left the one on the side.

Most of the hair looks pretty good except for a few instances where it's much too square. Many of the backs of the males' heads look that way. The people who have hair going off on one side but not on the other look rather strange.

I'll consider submitting a few designs.

I didn't think of that, but now that I see it, it does look much better. Thanks for the tip.

I haven't really gotten to making them yet. I'm not really sure how i'm going to go about it either.

I was considering doing that. When you look at the two dots while still noticing the full white of the eye, it works, but I realise people won't necessarily focus on that. I'll give it a go.

A few of them are supposed to look that way, except for the first 3 or so. I'll get to fixing that.

Thanks.
