Eh, I'm afraid to even talk about what I want to work on. I have so many things that I'd love to do, but it all takes so much time -- graphics especially.
One thing is for certain; now that Rusalka permits all these gnarly text functions, I want to make a tactics-ish battle engine.
Other than that? We'll see..! |

Currently working on Final Fantasy Gaiden.
I also have ideas for an ohr rpg with a job changing system and an ohr small world sim RPG similar to Harvest Moon/Animal Crossing. I'm forcing myself to hold off on doing anything with those, though, so I can continue to work on FFG. |

HAH! And I didn't finish either of them... -.-
I am planning Legends Of naturah, which is currently 6 years in planning, I think. PLANNING! I tried producing it as TurtleQuest in 2000 ish, but that was just a practice run. Sort of flopped.
Other titles I had started and not finished, but plan to finish some day:
Dark Emblem (strategy fighter/ tactic style rpg)
Cryzekia Lore (Rpg with a few unique features)
Dimension Wars (A brother rpg to Legends of Naturah)
My 48 hour 05 entry; Not A Drop (Adventure rpg)
Klimactikost Osio (Greek for stair case? A dungeon crawler/rpg) _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

oh my.
Well I got one on my mind...
"Lock On".
I started it today, it's really just one giant mini game, with no real story or plot.
And for my demos (war of the blobs, behind the shadows, elzzup, and countless others i never put on this site) I dought I'll continue them because 1, i've lost intrest, and 2, they suck. (jus kidding they pwn) _________________ The Following Statement is True.

I am reviving this topic, mostly because I'm interested in hearing what other community members are working on right now, be they veterans or newbies. So join in, if you haven't already! Here's a list of my current OHR projects....
TSSE - Timestream Saga Second Edition - Still on Hiatus after 3...4... many years. I've mostly fallen out of this one, but there's still a lot of work to be done with it. Truthfully, the story I had planned for it is so epic, so in depth that I couldn't just put it all into one game, instead spreadding it out over several projects. I WILL return to this one someday. After Vikings.
Vikings of Midgard - The "Welcome.RPG" for future OHR distributions. I'm still adding and correcting features, adding sound effects and working on fixing some glaring play errors and headaches. I would LOVE to make each character have their own backstory, their own personality, but is it really worth it? You tell me, but whatever I do, I really want to wow newcomers to the OHRRPGCE like I did with FFH.
Hamster Comics - The monthly comics for the Hamsterspeak magazine. As always, I strive to be on time with something topical and humorous to the OHR world.
Terrible Games Contest 2007 - Make a bad game. Win the contest. Get money. It's awesome too, how much interest it generates.
Zyran System Globes - A series of globes depicting the fictional worlds found in my OHRRPGCE games. I may involve these in some other future project. Maybe zoom in on certain landscapes, learn about the habitats and creatures or cultures that thrive there. Call it an interactive experiment in worldbuilding. |

"Spiritua" - I've decided to simply stick with this name and keep it simple. Progress is going sloooooow. I don't have enough to make the first town yet, but I'm working on it. _________________

I was taking a break for awhile, but I just finished Dragon Quest VIII a little bit ago so I've begun working on Tales of the New World II (not sure what the subtitle will be, probably "Of the Dark Ages"). It will be a prequel to my first game, roughly 700 years before it. There are lots of references to this game in the first one, but it should not be necessary at all to play the first one in order to understand the second.
This being my second OHR game, I'm trying to concentrate on it a lot more and learn from my mistakes in the first one. Battle balance the first time around was attempted on the spot. This time I'm trying to work out how battles will be balanced before the rpg file is even made. Indeed, it will probably be several months before I even start on the rpg file, and I'm hopeful that Ubersetzung will be released at that time. _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:

Detelamane: I reaaaly want to work on this game, but I'm currently addicted to this online game called "Conquer Online". Argh. Hopefully, I'll get bored with this and obtain a few weeks worth of free time.
Dance Dance Armageddon: My Terrible Game entry. Right now, I'm 'collecting' bits and pieces of media for the game. Prepare to dance your heart out!
It's weird though.. I don't have the time for Detelamane; and yet, I can convince myself to take some time out of squishing toads and stuff to work on a contest game. |
