This past week, my ISP was undergoing maintenance which led to a very sporadic internet connection. The connection did not stablize until yesterday evening, however the constant drops left my parents struggling to get online. During their trials, the router had somehow specified their internal IP to that of the web server. For that reason, even when my internet was up for a few hours, CP's website wasn't kicking back in. Troubleshooting this issue over the phone, coupled with constant internet downtime proved troublesome.
Sorry about the downtime. Hopefully it stays up longer this time. I do return home this coming Wednesday, the 7th of December, so unexpected downtime will only be caused by hardware failure, power outages, or ISP maintenance.
Speaking of hardware, I am planning a few upgrades to CP when I get in. It's badly in need of an OS upgrade and, due to the expanding size of hosted content, a dedicated backup HD is in order. I'll post information about upgrade related downtime before it happens, and it shouldn't be more than a day or two down at most.
We'll see how that goes.
Sorry again about the downtime.

Downtime happens. I just hope that it doesn't happen again for a while. _________________ "There will always be people who will tell you they hate what you made, or like what you made, and will tell you that what you did was wrong or right."

However sometimes the server might "answer slowly" as Firefox keeps saying.
Why? Is it, that the server goes down every now and then or - what? _________________ Activate point A by sliding slide B through points E and Z, so that the Joint TO touches the Vector 6, however avoiding an impact with vectors 34 and 5, which both are positioned at the edge of the said object near point R. We were having heavy rain in Santa Barbara this past week. My internet has been fluxuating as a result. It should be more stable once this storm passes. _________________

Is Cube still offering to be a backup server in case one goes down? I remember hearing that you were going to have a backup in case something happened to your side beyond your control, so CP could still be accessable.
