I'm scripting a custom battle system for the OHR. Behold:
To get to the point, I want to eventually have six heros in the party at once, but only four hero walkabouts could be shown at once on the map. And I really can't use NPCs without cutting out some important features. So that's it. Is it possible to tweak the OHR engine to get around this one limit? I'm customizing everything else (the menus, etc), but I just want to be able to show more than four heroes on the map at once. |

Eventually. Not yet, but eventually. When we drop QB, we'll have lots of room in memory to load an arbitrary number of heroes at once. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

Can't be done in qb game. The video page on which walkabouts are sorted is full to the last pixel.
Of course, it would be possible to build a special build of fbgame with more npc types (that would be waaay easier than changing every reference to 4 party members)... in fact, such modifications could usefully be remerged back into the main source after tirgoviste. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |
