And, actually, it's not even a bitset. It's a mute register, a la poison and stun (unless you're talking about the fail if target ___ bitset, which I forget whether I even mentioned here) _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

Right, and it still doesn't matter.
Further, it's official: we've added all the new features we're going to for Serendipity, except for one or two really big ones that have to do directly with the windows port. And bugfixes. So many bugs to fix...
Anyway, I encourage anyone who wants a new feature to submit a feature request on Bugzilla (mark it as a feature request, not a bug!) so we can keep track of them better. And, one per request plz. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

Yeah, that would help. We developers have poor memory and can't remember what you requested all the way to a code editor.
(PS: the real reason you won't get many more features out of me is because I'm lazy, I just started a new year of school, and I have other projects) _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Or, how about we don't want to dig through pages and pages of forum topics to find what someone suggested immediately after questioning the lineage of another forum goer. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

We're not changing it. There's no point. There are so many better things I could do with my time than change something that pointless. Who cares whether it's silence or mute? It doesn't make any differene to the end user. Do you know why the menu titles in Custom aren't customizable? Becuase it doesn't matter. They never show up in a game.
Why not demand that Poison be changed to Infection? If you want a poison spell to be called Infection, you make it so. If a mute spell should be called Silence, so be it. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

| No, Leroy is right. My father is mute, and it is not something that should be viewed as a status affliction. My father leads a perfectly happy normal life with his VoiceBox, and you people make it seem like he has a problem. SIlence is a much better, less offensive, and politically correct name for it, and I DEMAND it be changed. We call it "Poison", not "AIDs", am I correct? |

| I must write to my television manufacturer immediately. This button is clearly called Mute. |

You know what? You've convinced me. I'll drop this battle-scripting code I've got, and I'll rush over and change any potentially politically-incorrect word, no matter that it's only ever seen in the editor.
Heck, why stop there? I'll rewrite QBasic and FreeBasic to use politically-correct terms as well!
DIM? That should be MENTALLY-CHALLENGED, or MEN for short. Oh, no, we can't have that, we have to be gender neutral. We'll call it PER. Same with REDIM -> REPER.
(At this point, if not earlier, the sarcasm should become apparent.) _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

That's what I am saying. I'm glad you caught on. No need to change it, then. I had no idea you already had it scripted. then again, theres always the find and replace feature, which most desktop publishing programs have... _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...
