Okay... this my first... topic post I have done at castle paradox... I am not sure why though since Cube has been telling me forever to join so ... here is that picture, it took a while and I got a sore wrist, but heck! It was worth it!

The complexity is almost staggering to me. I love the suggestive patterns and subtle details. Also, is this a scratch board/carbon board, or did you color the blackness in?
The only thing that sort of bugs me is how busy the center apears to be compared to the rest. Good effort at keeping the whole thing balanced with the jagged lines around the edges. Somehow I think that leaving that part blank would have made a better effect. It's called white space in the world of layout. White space provides anyone who is looking at something some space to rest their eye. Sounds silly? Also, I realize the space would be black, but black space is no different from white space... Unless yer a RACIST COMMIE! :p
Well, that was my meaningless rant. Bottom line is it's acceptable. Exelent work. AND WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY!
PS: Your avatar is so blurry, it makes my retinas bleed. just FYI. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

*sighs of relief* Ah. Much better, your avatar is.
The picture there sort of has a couple proportion issues. Or maybe it's just the gigantic, frilly dress. The dress is well tailored and the wings and stuff are a cool touch (overboard a little on the wings, maybe?) and that huge bow and ribbon.
Her head is also quite small in contrast to the rest of her body. The large hat sort of balances that out, but it overall looks pretty ludicrous. I'm not out to hurt your feeling, just want to help. I also think all the tiny details of the dress and the wings were very nicely made and the way ribbon has it's folds is awesome. Keep it up.

Whatever you do, DON'T get a Deviant Art Account. There's not a single talented person there, just a bunch of emo-crying types who fawn all over each other in one great big clusterfuck.
By the way, I kind of like the candy cane decorations above her shoulders, but her shoulders seem kind of low and bulbous. It might help if you cut down on the curvature of the inner shoulder. Is there any reason to have that big of a dress, asides hiding her hands? And maybe if there was some more contrast, the whole thing kind of blurs together. Other than that, it's pretty good. _________________ The turkey: God's most noble creature.

Actually, i made puffy sleeves on purpose, as you can see the dress is very... well, OUT THERE if you know what I mean, I actually like making the clothes better than the actual person, if you can beleive that. So I have earlier work from like 1 year ago or more, I think they are the most horrible things I have ever layed eyes on (can't beleive I drew them) but if you'd like to see them i'd be happy to share them with you ^^, I also have a pardonable excuse for the rough proportions I did... you see I was in my van coming back from Banff and well @_@ It's hard to keep your eyes focused on a page when the vans bumping, LOL ^^ _________________

You misspelled Kids in your sig pic, Leroy. That's gotta count against you. _________________ The turkey: God's most noble creature.

Hah! Except that wasn't me. This sig is made by a friend of mine, I thought it was funny, he didn't want it, so I am using it. Spelling is a totally different art, in any case. Go boil your bottom under a silly person, you silly English kinighit. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...
