Why hasn't leroy been summarily banned yet? This forum is being mishandled. _________________ "I don't question why I'm here, but I try to think what I can do."

More importantly, I locked this thread! Why do you bastards keep deleting my posts? You wouldn't have deleted ANYONE ELSES post like that, they wouldn't even have gotten a warning. We all would've laughed and moved on. And if this post is deleted, I promise, vengeance will be swift. |

People get banned for breaking rules, not by being unproductive community members. Of course, I didn't make that particular clause there, that's just how this board was made: "newbie friendly". I personally dislike perpetual newbies, but I don't ban because of personal issues.
But that's not what this thread is about. SUBJECT DROPED. _________________

Maybe I just haven't offended the right people yet..? Should I try to be myself just a little harder? :p _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

I done reckoned, master Leroy, that what you was whistling was one of them there be english and the other being in japanese tongue be plum ridiculous. I can't rightly say I disagree, cept that what be important is essentials, ie the 'contextual meaning', and if there be no dang words to describe it in english, I don't rightly mind using one of them foreigner's words to make sense of it.[/brer fox style]
You're welcome to suggest a better word. I'll go with what's most accurate. Also, a suggestion from one friend to another: using sarcasm makes understanding what you mean tricky, since we can't make out your tone of voice given the medium of communication. Instead of sarcasm, I suggest mocking as [a] more accurate and direct way to troll a thread. That way, you don't have to make [a] note when you are being serious or not.
(Also, kissing people's hindquarters is a filthy thing to do--I suggest using 'compliments' to describe it instead.)

Almost finished correcting the errors the playtesters have found. If it weren't for the time system, the majority of them wouldn't exist. It is worth it though, the time system enhances the gaming experience, and without it, the game wouldn't be anywhere near as integrated as it is. When you play, it shouldn't feel too much like playing a typical ohrrpgce game due to that and a lot of other little touches.
We haven't been able to recover completely from Mike2 pulling out his musical score, (FyreWullf just has a way with people, haha.) Finding good/fitting public domain midis has been difficult. We were able to fill a lot of the gaps, but a lot of gaps are still open, mostly in battles. We'll probably initially release with the placeholder tracks. Better something than nothing.
From one ohr user to another, I am quickly losing patience with this bam-business, though I admit I still find its quality charming in a nostalgic sega-genesis way. |

How about calling them... beast-folk? Or animal-folk? That sounds like "people who kinda look like animals" to me. _________________

But in this case, aren't they animals who look like people, behave like people, and generally are people save for their tails, ears, and fur? I mean, I can't figure why we're arguing the terminology here, but it'd seem to me Anthromorphic, Furry, Kimono or whatever the hell, Beastfol, Animal Folk, or god damned ANIMALS would all fit the point, and we're all bantering over and over again on a meaningless issue. I for one am looking forward to seeing the game completed, if only to see if it lives up to the hype. If it doesn't live up to the hype, shame. Shame on your name for generations, Charbible. |

Look, with the way this thread is going, it's going to be split five thousand times. Fyre, is there any way to dull the pain by just letting us have something? Yes, I keep tabs on the one email thingy too- which is why I'll defend Fyre now. He's trying to get the filesize minimized, and they're not sure what can be removed just yet. _________________ A broken clock is still right twice a day. |
