This is a work in progress that's been growing on me. I'm planning on adding more detail(more feathers, some markings, ect), so it doesn't look so plain.

It needs some work, yeah (The eyes are a bit googly, and the nightgown is plain) But it is an excellent start, and I really like the way you do hair. Eagerly awaiting to see further versions of it. |

Yeah, it's just mostley guidelines so far. I was going for larger eyes and small pupils, because I wanted to creep the hell out of one of my friends.
I succeded. _________________ http://www.oddwebsite.com/ddw.php?tjord=11 |

Added more to the wings, nightie(based off of one of my own's patterns), and skin. Also cleaned up a few lines.

Making the wings a bit fuller would improve this picture quite a bit - right now they are sorta scraggly and weak-looking. The arm extended toward the viewer has a well-done hand, but add some arm/shoulder area sorta beneath it. Not too much though, as a great deal of "armpit muscle" renders any picture overly masculine. The left arm (her left arm, it's on OUR right) isn't long enough in relation to the head, it looks like it should extend maybe another handwidth down.
I like the face and head. _________________ UP DOWN UP DOWN LEFT LEFT RIGHT RIGHT A B START |

Thanks for the crit, I can see what you mean. I've always been kinda bad with deciding how many feathers is too much for a wing, so I usually tend to put too little.
I'm glad that the hand turned out okay.. Hands are the devil, so I've been drawing them a lot lately. As for the shoulder/arm area, I worked on it a little, but I'm still adding to it.
(Sorry it's so large; the actual file is the same size as the others, it's just that Photobucket's being a dummy face.)

Actually, that picture is about three times the size of the last two. _________________

You know, it finally dawned on me what that reminds me of. IT really looks like a porcelain doll, just the way the eyes and everything are, that psuedo-creepy prettiness. I think the feathers are finally getting up to a point where they look proportional to everything else. Nice work. |

In short: Love the texture of the hair. Don't love the cloth folds. Basically, you're ending them when they get to the torn part at the bottom of the dress. Put more "life" (folds, ripples) into them there than anywhere else on the dress. It's the border between cloth and non cloth. You need to make it more distinctive. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

I know that, it's only because of photobucket... I did the exact same things to the other two, and they aren't as big.
Giz- Ah! I didn't see that... she REALLY does. O_O
Leroy- Thank you for mentioning the folds! I'm really bad with them. I'm trying to fix them right now, but it's not turning out so good. Ah, well. Again, thanks!
EDIT: Here's the pic. Sorry if it's big, I tried resizing it several times.
