Lucy? She's back now (she's been grounded from the computer, apparently), but I don't know if she'll join CP. I doubt it, but we'll see. _________________

Okay, you didn't post on Otaku, and I've been out until about a half-hour or an hour ago. Now that I've seen the theme, can I ask what the hell it means? It's probably got some philisophical meaning, but the only thing I can think of is MY self. I can't make a game about me (and if I did, it would be terrible and unbelievably boring). Does anyone else have some interpretation of this? _________________ Preserve OHR history! Do it for the children! |

I did post it on Otaku.
Although the theme should be left up to your own interpretation, here are some starting points:
*The hero of the story discovers his self
*A battle between self and selflessness
*etc _________________

because the quotes aren't working for me... I'll quote it myself
RPGCreations
where did I take credit for it?
Aethereal
The "other" 48 Hour Contest has been run by Fenix for three years now. I'll probably enter that one.
RPGCreations
correction - OHR Otaku ran the original contest
Now, I don't have any problems with you hosting a contest of your own, but saying that the original contest was your idea... man, that pisses me off.
Now if you don't mind, Imma stop flaming, and let you go on with your crap. |

....
OHR Otaku ran the original 48 hour.
Not created.
ran.
I do not understand why you would care anyway; you didn't think of the idea either.
Next time, actually read my posts. Thank you. _________________

Woah, calm down you two. If this gets any more heated, Aeth might lock the thread. I think there's no need for arguments over something as silly as a simple contest, right? |

There is no argument, at least from my standpoint. _________________

I'm not going to close it (not yet anyway), but I think Fenix has a valid point. You are making it sound as if you're trying to take credit for his idea, especially when you consider where the idea of a contest in which you have two days to make a game originated.
I also find it hilarious, Fyre, that you suddenly decide to not give out the paid Livejournal time because of a lack of participation in your contest (what's the difference between having 3-5 people in your contest or 6-10 regarding prizes?). It's also interesting to note that the Livejournal time is the only prize that you yourself pay an additional fee for (no, your hosting doesn't count as that, unless you have a retarded host who charges extra for you to make a subfolder then password it for someone). _________________

I find it hilarious, Aeth, that you pay no attention at all. No one entered the contest. Therefore, no one can win, AND I SPECIFICALLY stated in the rules the minimum amount of poeple needed to enter for me to give out the prize. You are trying to start something with me again. Go get your jollies elsewhere.
And anyone believing I am trying to take credit for Fenix's "original" idea (that he got from the RM2K community) is a doofus and needs to actually pay attention. If you're still just going to ignore what I posted, I have the ACTUAL LOG where Fenix "came up" with the idea. I don't really care who created what, but when you people start accusing me of something I didn't do, that really makes me mad. _________________

Explain to me where it says no-one entered the contest (the contest has ended, however, you never said anything about no one submitting their entries).
I'm not trying to start anything with you, I'm simply gathering and stating several facts. Also, it is impossible for RM2k to have originated the idea, simply because the 48-Hour Contest for the OHRRPGCE preceded the release of the translated RM2k.
[Edit: And I just noticed you edited your post after I posted; it really makes US mad when you attempt to take credit for something you didn't create. Also, I checked Otaku, and that thing about under six entries certainly wasn't there before.] _________________

I edited my reply here for clarity. And it was before you even replied, or else it would have said edited by RPGCreations at blahlalhlhl under my post. And I noted all changes to the rules thread at Otaku; plus, if no one entered, why should I bother announcing that fact? If no one entered, no one will care if they won or not.
The 48 Hour contest was first held in 2001. RM2K was translated in (you guessed it!) 2000. I remember, because that was the year I first started on SoJ2, and SoJ2 started out on RM2K. _________________

or if you're still ignoring what I'm saying, you can just go with what ZZFenix said:
Quote: | Mew (an old member that hasn't been seen in a while) asked about a 48 hour contest that was held by some older OHRs, and wanted to start up a new one. The idea was interesting so I started it |
either way works for me.[/quote] _________________
