Well the contest officially starts. Rinku's theme is SUGGESTION, if you can make me laugh once without following the theme, you win, if you follow the theme and make me laugh three times, you win.

Gizmog of course is the first winner of the contest with eight laughs, he'll have his prize before some of you even have your entries in.

But Gizmog worked on his game before December 1st, so I don't think it's a legal entry.

Gizmog also FINISHED his entry before December 1st. I'm sure this clears up any of those sticky and nasty rumors of my working on the game before the startingline.

Okay so he's disqualified from Rinku's contest. We do things different like 'round these parts. My time requirements were only that nobody's eligible for prizes until Dec. 1, but so long as the game was made after the announcement of the contest, it doesn't matter when you made it.

In honor of my first victorious entry, I wish to declare this December 25th, and all further days of that date, as Gilbert Day. We will honor not humanity, but the greatness of Gilbert. Shall we begin with a hymn, "On Gilb, The Solid Rock I Stand"? Please open your hymnals to page 23, and ignore the dirty magazine stashed in the middle. That's for later, when we all close our eyes and bow our heads to pray, and no one will notice.

On behalf of Rinku, I resurrect this thread to announce the following:

gilbert/bastardzero is the winner of the human day contest. feel free to announce this on cp as well if you wish. his game won because it got to the heart of what 'suggestion' should be like better than any of the other games: research to get to know someone, and then, based on that knowledge, giving them a non-coersive clue to what you think would help them live better.

however the prize may be delayed (Note: Surprise surprise! -m1), probably until either (1) i get a job somewhere, or (2) the pet portrait business i run sells its first portrait. if both (1) and (2) fail to happen by xmas of this year, i'll just use some of my xmas money to pay for the prize.
