I'd like to think the parts of Hero's Journey might be hard, and at least it is a fairly long game. But I think that Aethereal's suggestion of Wingemene is probably one of the best games for newcomers to sink their teeth into if they want something fairly difficult, well-presented, and somewhat long. Does anyone know if an update is ever coming to that game? Although, to be fair, I didn't finish the demo; I lost my .sav file, and never re-started it.

Anyone remember Wingedmene? You know, that really good OHR game that needs an update and has been around since before every game ever mentioned on this list? (yes, I believe it even predates Evildead: Timeline.) That is, IMO, the hardest game on the engine, and one of the harder games I've ever played period.

yes i aim to make life difficult please, but i think evildead: timeline predates wingedmene by at least a few months. it was on rpg online when i first visited.

and i AM working on the game. my attempt to maximize how much game i could put into four maps (way back then, huh?) is starting to come back and haunt me. i am running out of npcs left and right.
