So he went out to learn how to read, and soon ran into a government agent who was on a mission to blah blah blah *hint hint*

Actually, I think this should be done. Let's all get together and make it happen!

That was hardly a motivational speech. It was a weak pep talk at best. Crying

Update: Trees are done now. Working on the buildings. Expect tiles to be done by February.

Whoops. I didn't mean to make it sound like a motivational speech.

If we want to start another community project, then we need a sufficient amount of motivation.

Well alrighty, then:

Make a game! Do it for the tsunami victims! Do it for the children! Do it for the sake of doing it! Do it for the unborn children (the 32 annual South Carolina Right to Life March was held today. It was first organized by my Grandmother)! Do it because CN is bossy and made a n00b thread!

Do it!!! Do it!!!!

*Bump* Check it out, CN and all the pimps in the hood.
Click it to enlarge.

~A special thanks to RMZ for doing me a favor and taking this screen shot for me~
The .jpg version of this was too blurry. I hope the crisper, more detailed version of this works better.

Don't get me wrong; I am not done. Far from it, I reckon is a fair shot. Here you see the beginnings of a building and a couple small dead trees. The incomplete looking road in the left corner might not exist in the final product. I wanted to make a road with a barrier, but I don't feel like it is necessary any more.

What do you think of what I got so far?
I think the dead tree could possibly be bigger...

I'm sorry, Leroy, but.. your graphics simply suck. A game with such potential deserves graphics of much greater caliber.

For example, might I propose using the following tileset?

All-purpose tileset of awesomeness! Full with roads, trees, dead trees, big dead trees and more! House tiles come with doors, windows, menacing shadows, and rorschach mural! And the giant chef also presents excellent plot opportunities! You could have an evil emperor who controls the world, except the emperor turns out to actually be a chef and finds out at the end of the game that the most important ingredient of baking a cake is LOVE, as opposed to mass slaughter and genocide.

Wait, I'm confused. When did this start being about a real game that CN was really going to make?

(BTW, 600 posts.)
