Gather 'round kiddies, time for a sob story.

The backstory, just for the lot of you who don't keep up, is that Thellos and I are mates, we live with Leo in an apartment and split rent three ways, though it's always difficult to make ends meet. That's life. Thellos lost his job. I don't know the details, but apparently he was simply laid off, just like me. Leo's family can't really help much either. He costs them $2000+ a month (the spoiled rich kid) and I just learned today that his father essentially can't do it any more. We have approximately a month to secure a job, and pay the bills for the apartment or we'll be in a very VERY bad situation. Our very survival depends on whether Leo, Thellos, and myself can find a job, otherwise it's the homeless shelter for us.

The plan is to sell off whatever we have to stall for time. Comics, games, anime, eveything possible. If it comes down to it, I'll even sell my computer, though I'm praying it won't. This failing, then I am reliant upon art commissions, etc. in the hopes it will suppliament whatever limited income we manage to bring in. However, I've not made a single sale in months (buy plz k thx). Provided I can set up an art commission site in a week, or something, then hopefully I can at least pull in a few extra dollars. The goal between the three of us is about $1000 a month combined.

If you can provide any assistance whatsoever, then I'd be most appreciative, though I won't beg for a single penny. (yet)

To do this requires my complete and utter concentration. I cannot devote even an iota of my allotted time to other things, aside from the pursuit of work and the accomplishment thereof. Therefore, I am retracting every obligation and project I have with others in the community. I simply can't afford to do it any longer.

TSSE is cancelled.

Ouch.
Well, I've got exactly thirty dollars and eighty-six cents in my Paypal account. Had some plans for it, but I'm sure I could spare some to help a friend.
So, what comics you got? And how much do you charge for art commissions?
(also, if by some stroke of luck you happen to have sandman volume 9: the kindly ones or robert altman's the long goodbye, i'm sure we could cut a deal)

I can't personally afford anything right now I'm afraid. But, if you want to get some comissions, I'd suggest you put up some offers on furbid. You could probably offer some prints of work you've already done, too. I've seen art that isn't 1/10 as good as yours get sold there, so I'm sure you could make some money.

If you were able to draw a picture or poster of the cast of Halloween Quest 2 I would be able to send you a few bucks.

If you are selling games, feel free to post up what you are selling, as I may be able to chip in a bit (even though I can't really pay too much as missions are expensive as hell).

Also, I hope you guys make it out of it. I'll keep you in my prayers (if that means anything to you, which I hope it does Raspberry!)

Good luck.

Shoot. I'll help if I can.

I'm very tight-fisted with my money in general, but I may buy some games for over market value or hire you to be my graphics lackey.

Thats really poor luck, Fl. Hope you get through.

I'm so happy that I never played and got addicted to TSSE, or I might be banging my fists on the table in a rage right now. fear not... this doesn't have to be a cancellation, just a large... setback.

A VERY large setback. Provided this all gets cleared up, I intend to continue work on it.

RMZ: I'll start work on that HQ2 poster shortly.

And for the rest, I'll see if I can put together a list of the games, etc I'm selling.

I'd rather have a list of the comics.

Saying it's cancelled covers your back from fans demanding an update though, so maybe everyone should go back to thinking it's cancelled instead of raising hopes : P

I'll have to see what my budget looks like after Christmas shopping. I might be able to help you out. Just PM me and let me know where to send a check.
