Well, the rule exists because if it didn't, people left and right could be giving their games A+ and that would defeat the whole purpose of reviewing other people's games, simply `cause it'd be unfair.

I think what creates the bad first impression rather than posting the game is immediately giving the bad self-review of it.

No, that would be stupid. It's fine the way it is.
Also, why in the hell do you people release games if you know that even you wouldn't give them more than an F? I'm not talking about people like Moogle, who go back, look at really old games they made, and give them bad reviews. I'm talking about peoiple like M4gmawarrior. You just joined this site and posted your first game, and are implying that this game doesn't deserve more than an F. Why did you even waste your time posting it? |
At the time I thought it was a good game, but after I played it, I realized it sucked. I'm telling people not to waste their time on this game.

If you want to write something that explains the game rather dont make a review for it. Just put it into the .ZIP as a readme or something.

How much did you wasted your strength to write that? Your fingers must be really sore now. Do I have to call mother to heal your wounds?
YOU don´t like that game, OK..., it´s my first developement... I´m not mad about that.
What did you actually have in your mind, when you wrote that? Was it just a review in a few sentences? Or did you meant, that it will make my self-confidence to drop like a German Messershmitt during WW2 and I pop off from Castle Paradox, because my first game happened to suck? Please...
Now I know, what other thinks about my game, so now I can tune up my especially graphical skills for my next game.
And PLEASE, stop this madness. How many really likes, Castle Paradox´s websites rumbles, when there are two users declared immediate word war to each others. I quit my complains now.

Wow, talk about a crazy misunderstanding.
I think you misunderstood the fact that Tsunamidog was talking about his own game, which he recently wrote an F- review for (most recent one on the list, even). I think Tsunamidog also misunderstood that PHC was talking to you about your game and not his...
In other words, calm down, please. |
