How can you say FFH-2 is good if it has next to NOTHING in it? That's like saying FF Crucial Dreams is a good game. You can say it's a nice START, but niether merit a download. It's like downloading The Crystal Globe (which you SHOULDN'T. Don't ever, ever touch that file. Ever. I mean it.). _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

It has an okay length for a demo. Besides, the graphics are nice to look at and the story seems interesting. _________________ Calehay |

Totally forgot:
OHR House is amazing. Even though it's not an RPG, it's still funny. (I want to be in the next one!) _________________ Calehay |

Thanks for all the replies, I downloaded all those games, gonna check em out now, oh one last question though, (excluing games already listed) what are some ones I can download with impressive plotscript? I really like looking at masterful plotscripting since that's all I was able to do well in OHR, I already know the Scary Game series, (anticipating #3), and the egg side-scroller, Monterey Penguin was impressive for it's time, tactics battle system is still cool. Any others that show the power of plotscripting? _________________ Signature |

SiV is outdated.
Retrogamer (formerly Tantalus Spade) totally outdid himself and that game with Trailblazers. |

Ha ha!
Well, even I have to admit, in referrence to Shadowiii and Calehay, that Neo Krysta gave me a freaking headache and at times I wondered why it was one of the few games I saw to completion, but...
{shameless plug}
...you gotta admit, Neo Krysta 2 was actually quite good, and 3 would've been better with the exception of the experimental maptiles with eye-searing color mixtures. Speaking of which, I've been contemplating starting that RPG project all over again and improving it from last time.
.hack//OHR strangely has more popularity than I expected and honestly...wanted. The only reason it's not really worthwhile now is because I'm not even close to halfway into its making.
{/shameless plug}
But other games that I thought turned out well are:
- Crescent Dream
- FFH (if you have the patience for it)
- Purgatory (probably the only great horror game for OHR)
- City of Dreams (very original for an OHR game)
- Mr. Triangle 5 (fun and hilarious with not-so-great maptiles due to the style of the game's maker)
- Mr. Triangle's Maze Madness (RMZ is extremely good with minigame material)
Really, you just need to take a look into these games in general. Some will give you a good idea of things to do with your games, and some will give you a great lesson on what NOT to do in your games (hint: 5th Age <.< ) _________________

i'm pretty sure he already knew to do that. the file is seriously old so he's probably seen it on his previous ventures into the ohr community and anyone who's spent any amount of time at any site that's reviewed it (such as rpg online) would know that it's only download worth is to see just how horrible it really is (aka "i'm going to download it to learn what NOT to do...").
speaking of wingedmene... *beats the everliving kilobytes out of it for causing such an annoying buffer overflow problem that forced her to completely tear up and rewrite the imprisoning sequence* _________________ LJ.Art

Magnus is the best OHR game ever because it has gotten the most downloads, reviews, and is remembered by every single OHR user. In fact, it even has a (illegal) fan series based off it.
No other OHR game has yet to match it. _________________

personally, i've only seen four reviews on magnus. ffh and ohrhouse can easily beat that. and i think ffh holds the record for downloads, and this is including magnus's time at rpg online. (thousands of downloads vs. hundreds)
and since we're talking about downloads... who's downloading 10/5/98 game.exe? it's jumped from eighteen downloads to over three hundred and is about five to twenty five numbers higher each time i look. _________________ LJ.Art
