We were so close. Just curious fenix, but how much were certain points worth? When I did the math with 1st being 3, 2nd being 2 and 3rd being 3 I came up with about the same score for Gargan and Troy, but Fox and the 8-6 had a significant amount less. Still in 1st place, but still had less. So what were the worths of the points? And I'd like to thank everyone for being such good competitiors and giving Worthy and myself something to work hard for. _________________ ---------------Projects----

Why didn't you assign a certain number of points based on rank? I know that Bo Hobo was voted for twice, but once it was rated #1 and another time #3, so why didn't you do something like give it four points (#1=3pts, #3=1pt)? It seems the results would then be more accurate. |

Thank you to everyone who voted for The Fox and the Eight-Six. And a special thank you to the other contestants who did their best, followed the rules, and took this contest seriously all the way to the end. And an un-special "Boo" and "Hiss" to the people who have treated this contest as a joke.
VICTOLY!! |

Aw crap... I rejoined the community like what? a week after the 48 hour contest was over? That really sucks...
The 48 hour contest is awesome! The only games I've ever released to the community were 48 hour games (Help Wanted and Boartok's Eggplant if anybody remembers them). I love it because I can never finish a long game, but staying up until the wee hours of the morning is fun when making a short game.
I'm glad to see this still goes on every year. Good job Fenix. _________________ The oven is now edible... I mean usable. |

...is RPGCreations Fyrewulff, Charbile, or both?
...and if it's Fyrewulff, how is this his victory? _________________

Both FyreWulff and Charbile. But because it's hard to figure out whos posting, I've also slipped into the habit of presuming its Fyre always.
I think that first and second place was garrenteed, but the third place was the undecided one... _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Bo Hobo got voted twice? I only saw one 2nd place vote coming from Fyre. I doubled checked, too...
And yes, the points were given depending on the rank people voted. 1st = 3 points, 2nd = 2 points, and 3rd = 1 point. Keep in mind, not everyone voted in that thread (2 people voted by messaging me). I'll recount the votes if you want to, but the positions would still be the same (I think I might've miscounted a little bit due to my lack of sleep).
Oh, and honorable mention goes to "Scottie goes to Hell", for getting 2 first place votes despite being disqualified. |

Woot! Not quite the way I predicted, but it is satisfying.
I never metioned this, but in Fox and the Eight six, the frog was somehow puss in boots, and the only slue that I found that he mews like a cat. What is up with that? Oh well, it deserves 1st for sweet graphics.
I would only play through it once though... <.<

I completely forgot about private messaging votes... But this has been one of the best contests I have been in. And we had very good results. Congrats again. Heh, everyone's a winner this time. _________________ ---------------Projects----
