Aw crappit, I won't be able to finish my game. Stupid work. They were trying to get me to do 9 days in a row... I just don't have enough time or sanity left to finish (unless there are no graphics at all). I might try and finish this up later, but I doubt it (I have two other games I want to work on). Sorry.

Oh, and whoever wins is lucky I ran out of time.

SQUALL IS A FAILURE

I worked on the game from the moment I was allowed (10:00pm MST to 4:30 MST) and I was feeling great. I had a good idea and I could forsee it being the best game I ever made.

I continued with that same enthusiasm the next morning from 12:00 to 5:00, when I had to go to work, and was still feeling fine.

I planned to work for one long stretch when I got home from work (10:00pm) until the next morning. I wasn't going to even sleep.

Unfortunatly, this sort of behavior seems to make a person cynical. The next thing I knew, I was hating everything about the game. I was playing it and not having any fun. Not to mention that I had placeholder graphics on the whole thing and I wasn't looking forward to drawing them all up.

Alas, it came that I made so many last-minute changes that the end result is a hopeless dribble of unrelated chores. I don't want to put my name on that crap ball. I'm dropping out. A nice waste of 14 hours...

Good luck to everyone who has persistance, though!

That's your answer to everything PHC.

Anyways, this sucks that so many people are dropping out. I was looking forward to a whole lot of great competition.

I'd play Feed Sew. Hell, If I had that game, I'd love it forever and always. We would stay up late at night and tell each other bedtime stories. It would be so sweet and loving.

...

God, I'm hungry..
