Can we please just let him make his game, and see if he improves it, before we start telling him he's no good, and practically scaring him off? I admit, Town Traveller wasn't my favorite game, but let's see how his next few work, before we start telling him he's no good, alright?

Hi how are you doing? i had a quick read through the feedback your getting, doesn't sound very good! Maybe you should go back to you tile set(s) and re-do them all, i know it takes alot of time but believe me its well worth it... i once made a crappy but hilarious game and redid all of the graphics... It turned out to be one of my best games!! Believe me i think this would be an excellent advantage, when your finished it will look like a completeley new buffed up game... You can work text, scripts etc from there on... And if you say you are lazy why dont you be a little more discrete and try and see if any other experienced OHR game makers will help you out...

Well good luck anyway, i think sparrowhawk is more enthusiastic about it!

At least four of my older games(Duck and MJ, Duck and MJ 2, Duck and MJ 1/2, Super Joe RPG, Pixelation, OHR Beat the Geeks) are no longer available online, three of my 'real' games are available(Query Part 1, Query Part 2, OMG TIZ ROXORZ), one crappy contest game(Mix) is available, one good contest game is available(OMG TIZ ROXOZ TO MUCH), one battle system demo is available(Query I), and my first release of Alchemy War is coming in one-two months, pending graphics. My other two side projects (Home is Where the War Is, Query I) are on hiatus due to limited computer access

For any of you who can't make the implied connection, it's probably better that way.

Otherwise, my point was, someone who has a lot to say about someone else should at least live up to his own standards. That's all.

BTW, I don't think you should be allowed to call a game your game unless you did some of its gameplay aspects or all of its planning.
(I don't consider OHR Arena my game because it's just Aeth's game with my graphics. Deer Hunter Xtreem and The Curse of Dracula I consider mine because I planned the whole ideas. Me just scripted and mapped it all.

You don't have to "make" games to know HOW to make games. Just because I haven't made an RPG doesn't mean I don't know how to make a good rpg. Just because someone is lazy in actually CREATING a game doesn't mean they dont' know HOW to create a game.

And good luck remaking your game. Don't listen to people who say you should drop it, any experience is a good one. Egads, sometimes I just want to *kick this community. No, no, no...

Almost. Chaz, Jordan, Jessica, and Dave are actual friends of mine, but yes. I have worked very hard on the OHR in the past 5 years...and you unfortunately have caught me at the bad time where I don't give two damns what anyone thinks anymore.

I think it's a fair point to be had concerning those who judge this game. Those who have not completed a game are keen to criticise it, surely putting your efforts into creating games would be more productive.

Secondly, so what if the game isn't great, the least that could happen is that they will learn from their mistakes. I also don't see the point in critising the game before you even see the improved version, such a statement does nothing but associate the game's previous versions with the new version. Which is something I feel the creators don't want, considering it's a 'remake'.

Linkmax is updating the maptiles, and won't let me work on T.T. 'til he's done.
(The trees look bitchin' though)
So I started work on a NEW game to pass the time, and so far, it looks pretty good. I'm not sure if I should release it or not...
