There're some things that I think would really improve OHR, but James does have a reason for not implementing them, so meh! What're ya gonna do?
Altogether, though, I think he's made a lot of good progress on it. _________________

Yeah, OHR has come alot farther than way back in the day. I've been using the OHR for about 4.5 years now(didn't find out about CP until last year) and I haven't found any game making tool that I'm more comfortable with., OHR is the best. Great job, James. _________________ Gyu, Doh! |

I found OHR back in 99 when I was searching for a gamemaker similar to one I had on my old C=64. I doubt it was a 4 map version (I'm not really sure). The rest, as they say, is history. _________________ This is my new signature.

I think the progress has been good enough. The updates may seem to take a while, but that gives you time to get used to the new features. |
The clever ones figured out that you could get more maps by editing Wandering Hamster.
Jade started out as a WH file. _________________

The modest ones don't post in this thread... Don't ask where that came from.
So yea, Byako just noticed this. No biggie. Remember the good things that were said, and all of that. Forget the fact that he broke a very "Sacred" rule... _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

I'm very satified, and, although I wasn't there for the "four-map terror",
I do remember when the OHR didn't have an "undo" button...
It made me SO angry...
Anyhow, it has come a long way. _________________ http://www.oddwebsite.com/ddw.php?tjord=11 |

The undo button was an excellent feature, but you revived a dead thread. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

Actually, it was only 4 days old. I don't think that that's really 'dead'. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

People can't make up their minds around here. Either they ride your ass for reviving "dead" threads, but then the shit hits the fan if you decide to post a new thread on a topic. "OMG didn't u see we all ready had a thread on that n00b rofls"
Make up your minds. _________________

Ermm...actually, this thread was dead before Byako revived it, and that is why there was a 4 day lag between posts.
| As I earlier wrote: | Thanks for your input, Byako, but this thread is a tad over a month old.
Let it rest in peace. |
So, let's stop complaining and getting on each other's nerves, please. Let this friggin' thread just die peacefully. 0_o _________________

Actually, Fyre (I assume Fyre) has a point there . . . we do jump on people for reviving dead threads and for making new threads while a thread already exists for it somewhere in the depths of time/forum. I'd like to see people make up their minds in this situation as well. However, I have noticed that most of the thread-reviving comments do not show any sign of recognition of the fact that the thread in question is long dead. Just acknowlege that you know it is a "dead" thread and make your response.
Now, there are a few threads that are "immune" to this. The "what would you like to see" thread for example, although it is fading as James has stopped adding features for the most part. Also, this thread I belive doesn't really die. Thus, I really don't agree with Setu's reprimand of Byako, as his response was perfectly valid and fit with this sort of timeless type of thread.
Also, there are posts that can almost always be "yelled at." An example can be found here. See? Useless posts are evil and cause evil revivification, but useful and intelligent posts are good and can cause good revivification. _________________ UP DOWN UP DOWN LEFT LEFT RIGHT RIGHT A B START |
