djfenix, I am planning on doing both your contest and the marathon. And if some people trully liked both, they will fit it into their schedule. So be expecting something a lot better than Mr.Triangle's Battle Royal this year. Heh. _________________ ---------------Projects----

Fenix--
I don't think they'll need two-day extensions for the EM contest. The reason why it's nine weeks long is so that the contestants can take periodic breaks in design. I know I have a hard time staying focused on anything for more than a few days at a time, so I expect that some of the contestants may have the same difficulties, and will need the breaks/distractions every once in awhile. So I still hold that your 48-hour contest will not interfere with mine since I'm fairly certain that everyone who participates in mine will likely take at least two days off in the design sometime during the course of the nine weeks they have to complete them.
Seriously, can you name anybody who will work on a contest game every day for more than two months straight? The last Epic Marathon contest was eight months long and most of the contestants waited until the very last week to START on their games. If you want to hold 48-Hour in mid-June, I really think that you'll be in the clear.
Speaking of Epic Marathon, I should probably work on finishing the game details so that we can start on time, shouldn't I? As I said...lack of focus. _________________ Progress Report:

Ahahahah... that's true... I cant name anybody who can work on a game 9 weeks straight (hell, I cant even do that for 2 days). I guess it would work out.
The marathon sounds interesting. I wanna join too! It might be the first game I complete, since games must be completed |
