Although I don't see why intelligence isn't a reasonable explanation for having advanced technology. Sure, technology has to follow a tree (one thing leads to another), but wouldn't a smarter species advance down that tree faster by virtue of their brainpower?

the war slows their technology because they are always fighting and not researching, and as it says in the original post he goes to school but the schools train them to fight so really the dont bother with technology but training their fighting skills

War has always improved technology, I don't see why you would have it slow it.
It's increased our communication technology, the atom bomb, and probably a lot of medical things.

The post was not that dead, and I'm assuming you're still working on this game, so why are you complaining about me giving you some advice on your story? My post was perfectly relevant and it's not like the post was old.

Camdog: Intelligence does advance techonology. I got the impression from the post that when Xaero said that Orcs were intelligent, that they were simply more intelligent than Orcs were typically portrayed. They may very well be more intelligent than humans but they should not be WAY more advanced. You also must consider interaction. Interaction between humans and orcs would promote technology between both of them. My point is that intelligence isn't necessarily going to make you more advanced than another intelligent species.

MCW: You're completely right. If anything, war gives people an incentive to make technological advancements. A good example is the Cold War period (in which there was no actual fighting). Because of the constant threat of war, the U.S. sent armies all over the place and spent TONS on defense, but during the cold war, most of our greatest technological marvels were created.

The story kinda reminds me of Suikoden 3. I know that each character's story is diffrent. But it's a cool plan. The three will meet at one point of d game while they play minigames.

Im feeling really tempted to post up everything about the whole game but that would just ruin it so ill post up a bit more info on the heros

Moved away from family to train on a small island to be a gaurdian of Falanor city, He is on his last exam at the school and has to go on a mission to slay a monster that has been disturbing the local town, unluckily he gets teamed up with two kids who hate him and give him trouble all the time, passes his exams as well as the 2 bullies and go to Falanor for their final training. When they arrive their they find out they do not need to go a study but go straight into battle since a large horde of undead servants had come invading the city of Falanor.

Mysterious, he is on a mission but you dont know what for, everywhere he goes he is under attack by undead servants, eventually you come to a city, everyone there knows your name, you go and talk to the king and he tells you something very important.

Background info:
Was a great warrior and helped lead the humans to victory over the undead and the Death King 10 years before, he was promoted to warcheif of Falanor, when he heard the news from the Aracle that the Death King had returned he ran away in anger despite of the kings orders to kill him himself

The way that racing is there, but also crucial to the story probobly took a lot of thought, so kudos to you.
