Dosbox should allow screenshot taking in XP - load up Custom, find what you want to screenshot, then click the desktop so that Dosbox is no longer the active program (but you can still see the Dosbox window) and hit Print Screen. It SHOULD work, much in the same way that Dosbox allows BAM to work even without VDMS. I don't have Dosbox on this computer, though, so I can't say for certain.

@Fenrir- I've checked a bunch of threads about it and none of them actually tell you what to download, they just say "download a screen capturer", which I did.

@Aethereal- I know, and yes it does work, but its such a hassle to work with.

For capturing a screen in DosBox: Instead of clicking on your desktop to de active the window, just hit al t+ printscreen instead, this will only capture the current window. The window frame is captured too though : (

Try ScreenThieft, James suggested it on the helpme board, and the link to it is there. It's meant for use in pure Dos, but it might work in a command prompt window under windows.
