Simulation:
1. OHRdate - Ohr date had a lot of work put into it, for one. But more importaintly, it actually simulates something fresh, and, semi-new.

2. Deer Hunter Xtreme - Of course the only other game that simulated had to get second. Altough it was slightly fun, it didn't really have much work put into it. (and if it did, I'm truely sorry. :P)

3. I'ld really rather not vote for a 3rd on simulation because no other game simulated, meaning it is not worthy of a vote.

Enjoyment:

1. OHRdate - Altough I didn't find it very much fun, it was a lot better than others on the scale of enjoyment. And no Shadowiii, dont' take that the wrong way. I am voting for the game, not against the others. :P

2. OHRadius - It was pretty interesting while it lasted.. meaning, before the bugs ruined the game. But Fenrir did a really good job on the graphics, and it was a good idea for a game. (although maybe not for a simulation contest..)

3.Deer Hunter Xtreme - Reminds me of all the old FPS games I used to play, for some reason. Maybe it's all the head-on-hardcore-hunting-action?

I don't even need to see votes to know I lost horribly by a landslide. And the obvious winner is OHR Date. All I can say is, 528 hours gone to waste. You should post the results real soon MCW. So that we can all glorify over how great OHR Date is.

Completely untrue. Regardless of score, these are some of the finest and unique OHR games I have ever played, and I'm sure none of them will be forgotten. Saying that an experience is a waste is untrue, regardless of experience, because you learned something from it. McGoo may not have won, but it was certainly a fine game in its own right (as were they all). The fact they were all COMPLETED games was also rather stunning, considering 90% of OHR games never are finished, even the "greats."

Perhaps people do like the game, but I assure you there are quite a few who do not like it at all, and those who only like it somewhat. I personally dislike the game, and have disliked it before I even made it (I don't enjoy simulations of real life at all, dating especially). It isn't wonderful, flawless, etc. etc. As stated before, just because one game wins doesn't mean the others are bad. It's a contest. One has to win. Whether it was mine, yours, or whoevers is irrelevent. Compared with other contests, this one is probably the most successful contest every completed. All the entrees were astounding.

Um, yeah, I'm sure everyone is just going to say "Shut your face, Shadow, it's easy for you to say...you are the winner." but, in all honesty, I entered this contest with the expectation that I would lose (I mean, who likes Simulation Dating games? I don't. Oookay... ), but even so I never considered the experience to be a "waste" or a "failure" in the least.

And, finally, all that really matters is you had fun making the game, you enjoyed the experience of learning more about game design, and you liked the finished product. Though I dislike dating sims, I really enjoy the accomplishment of finally completing a game on my own. I'm sure everyone here is pleased with how their games turned out. Don't discourage yourself because of a stupid score.

Shut up, Red. Stop whining. Don't jump the gun so fast. OHR Date is rated high because it's a great game, not because people wasted 528 hours.

Yes, this contest has been pretty much swept by OHR Date, but, like Shadow said, that doesn't mean that the games aren't good.

Stop being a cunt and acknowledge the good parts of the contest, instead of omg i m n last place i wated tiym CryingCryingCrying. Christ. Mcgoo is a good game, but comparatively, no, it's not as good as OHR Date or OHRadius. This was its competition, and its competition was insane. Deal with it.

Oh, and, I just want to use this picture because it's what Shadowiii would have said if he was as mean as me.

Again, stop whining about the results. There's not a single 'bad' game in the collection. This was an incredible result. Fix your standards, bub, because these are going down in history.

I suppose. Anyways, since I ran out of time and then lost like 20 minutes more worth of points, I never really got to add in my two secret endings. So when the contest is over we will post up our fixed and better copy of SmokeyMcGoo. I think what hurt me worst was confusing SIMULATION with EMULATION. Oh well, it is a good game all the same.
