For those of you who I haven't bored to death with this news:

Last night, I was talking to our trumpet player at church (who is the president and CEO of a software company). He informed me that they are starting on their first PC game project, and he wanted me to write the music for it!

Sorry if I sound weird or prideful er something...it's just that having something like that happen makes you want to freaking tell everybody you know. Anyways, I'll shut up now...

Heh, I have all that's needed to make my own GBA game. I just don't want to.
Can't code or write my own music. That or even figure out the damn program. I'll probably take time in the future to figure it out.

BTW, whatever happened to Tsugumo's Ninja Gaiden fangame? It looked totally awesome to me.

Congrats! Keep us updated on what's going on with your work. I think most of us aspiring game designers (and musicians) would love to hear the ins and outs of working for a start up. (Perhaps I smell a semi-regular OHR-weekly column?) Anyway, good luck!

Well, Jeremiah is still in the storyboarding stages, but he DID tell me what he's doing. He's creating an online "world", much like in the Matrix. Only this game is more of a "gaming platform" whereas you create your character in this "world" and are sent on missions (not yet decided, story is still in the works) that will cause you to play under different gameplay setups (i.e. FPS, Racing, Arcade fighting, so on).

But that's all I know for now. He doesn't want me to start on music for at least another 5 months er so, which is good, `cause I have Easter Cantata music to write for church Really confused

so I'm pretty busy on that right now.

More seriously I want to tell you this: My big brother is a architect and he met this guy who was starting his own business in that field (I forgot what they called it) and he made my Bro VICE PRESIDENT. But the company hasn't taken off yet. In fact it was failing and couldn't pay him or anyone. In conclusion, my bro went back to what he was doing and life went on as normal (debt). What does this story have to do with you? Hopefully nothing. Be careful. I hope it works out for you. Neutral
