Hey, I'm making this sweet new game called Bing The Jellyfishes Good Deed. Sound a bit cheesy? It Is. Basically its about this Jellyfish (called Bing) and hes walking about in some underwater coral reef or something. and he sees a beer bottle (underwater beer mind you. The reeeal stuff) so hes feeling a bit curious today and he opens it and i giant genie pops out and does a speech. THEN you get proppelled into the real world with lots of stoners, drunks, furries, and war.
That concludes my new project idea.
Good or Bad?

Um, whatever works for you, I guess. This isn't about the design of the game though, it's more of a statement explaining that you want to make this game, so to the OHR forum it goes.

I'll warn you Catfish. Your game lost any appeal it might of had when I read your description of it. It seems that ever game description I've read recently is extremely unserious and its just not appealling anymore.

It could be conciderred serious... It is sort of symbolic. A good guy is curious one day so he opens up a beer bottle (The real stuff even) and a Genie Pops out and transports him to this world where all these so called "bad" and "contraversial" things in it. I bet the Jellyfish is thinking "Woa... Man, I am wasted" or something at the moment, then he realizez he has been sent to the "real world". The beutiful coral reef he wasonce aprat of is gone. That could represent the former beuty and then after he gets stoned, the whole world crumbles beneath his feet. Perhaps the good deed is he solves the problems, but he has to return to normal in order to do so?

Hmmm...

So what do you think of that annalogy? Besides the possible grammar and maybe spelling errors in it... Happy

I think it's a not very good idea. Sure, it may be okay to do a stupid game once in a while, but most are just bad, and not even funny.

If you ask me, the best stupid games weren't originally intended to be stupid, but turn out that way. Of course this tends to only work for beginners and who's asking me anyway.
