I'm posting up a screenshot of my custom Menu for my new Skills system I'm going to implement.

http://www.geocities.com/minnek9/Artwork.html

Very bottom of the page.

I just thought I'd share this with you guys; feel free to comment, criticize (constructively), or whatever else. Big grin

Interesting. The face art is rather decent.

Looking overe this page some more, I came across Partisan's battle graphics, and must say, his partisan's rod looks quite a bit too thick. It hardly looks like a partisan, to tell the truth. More like a club with a three-pronged head. Just thought I'd give my opinion there...

Is that face art a standard part of the OHR, or did you plotscript it in?

Face art is not a standard part of OHR. It must be plotscripted.

'Tis lots of improvement in a small amount of time.

Irvine and twilight, in a way, look too similar. They use very similar colour schemes, so perhaps you should change the palette on one of them.

On Irvine's side view, her face looks a little squished. Another pixel-line dedicated to the head might overcome that. Also, her back on the side view looks too linear and uninteresting. Her hands should be a little bigger. The outline of the front of her looks masculine *cough* she has no breasts *cough*

On Irvine's front view, the cape goes straight all the way done except for the last few pixels. Instead it should gradually stick out, like every three pixels down the next three should bulge out one pixel. Her waist should stick in one pixel, otherwise she looks too masculine. ...I'll write more soon.

Edit: this is supposed to be on the very last pic... oopsie Big grin Okey dokey, for the pics I'm supposed to comment on... They're very good, my advice is to put a little more detail in them, maybe earings on Twilight or Irvine, 'somethin like that..? Anywho, good job.

Edit: what is RPGExcel?

Note 1: If Minnek was to change either Irvine, or Twilight, I bet he would change Irvine, because I sence that Twilight is ONE of his MORE favorite characters out of the lot. (we are talking color schemes here)

Note 2: I agree with Madhatter in that Twilight DOES sort of look masculine (even in the after grafics below the before ones... Oookay...)
And, MadHatter, Do you know how hard it is to pixelate breasts? LOL!

Note 3: Style, and character perspective (what ever that means)

Note 4: RPGExcel is cool, thats what it is. Raspberry!.
(On a more serious note, it is the group started by Minnek, and I was one of the first members in it. The other members were from school, and werent really into it. I am the oldest member, and Minnek is the leader. I think I may be the vice president, or at least the village idiot. We have 4 official members as of now, and one really doesnt care. Tis the sad story of RPGExcel... Big grin)

Oh.....maybe it isn't apparent, but Irvine is a guy XD Anyway, I was thinkin' about earrings for Twilight, so ... that may end up as part of it. I'm also trying on the masculine -> feminine thing, but... I'd need an example of how to do that Oookay... I'd be quite obligued to anyone who helps on that. Heh. My last comment'll be that...... RPGExcel's the company I'm head of. Just check out my signature Big grin Heh. Right. Anyway, thanks for the comments everyone.

Hot butter! Twilight sure has packed on the pounds since I last saw her, and you know what they say about fat girls trying harder... ^_~

And yeah, the partisan is way too thick. I doubt the character could actually lift it in battle.

My advice is to pick a name other than Irvine, 'cuz Irvine sounds very feminine. Like naming a boy Leslie or Tracy kind of...

Well, I suppose it depends on how you pronounce Irvine. I believe it's a masculine name... anyway, the way his name is suppposed to be pronounced is Err-Vyne...... anyway, I can't change the name because it's what his name is...not really like I can shift things around without damaging the story and its background, and the characters backgrounds. Irvine's Irvine for a reason... Blame Dersekai Dainse if you must blame someone, he named him Oookay... Argh, did I just give away another thing about my storyline? BAD MINNEK BAD! I did that on my screenshots page and haven't.......fixed it.....yet.....STAY AWAY UNTIL I FIX IT! Ha ha ha!
Anyway, everything is concrete now, so I can't really go and change something without hurting some part of the world I've created. Otherwise I would change his name to something like Shinobi. (Shinobi.....I like that.......*Minnek takes note for his next storyline*)

Irvine is fine. Heh, that rymes. And when I say fine, I mean ok... Not the attractive fine. Perhaps that is why it sounds feminine. Anyway, I wouldnt call RPGExcel a company just yet. It's not like we have any stock or anything. Oookay... Well, I could probobly help you do sprite, Minnek. I could probobly come over later and kick you off of your computer and give you the grand tour of grafics! Muahahahahaha! Oh, ok... I will call you later. Raspberry!

Hatter, there was a character in FF8 named Irvine. It's a guy's name, I assure you. However, when you mentioned him as a girl, I took a second look at him, and he does look very feminine. Deeply bishounen, eh, Minnek?
