CRAWLING IN MY SKIN
THESE WOUNDS THEY WILL NOT HEAL
FEAR IS HOW I FALL
CONFUSING WHAT IS REAL
There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface,
Consuming
Confusing
It's lack of self control I fear is never ending
Controlling
I can't seem
To find myself again
My walls are closing in
Without a sense of confidence
And I'm convinced that there is just too much pressure to take
I felt this way before
SO IN SECURE
CRAWLING IN MY SKIN
THESE WOUNDS THEY WILL NOT HEAL
FEAR IS HOW I FALL
CONFUSING WHAT IS REAL
Discomfort endlessly has pulled itself upon me
Distracting
Reacting
Against my will I stand beside my own reflection
It's haunting
How I can't seem
To find myself again
My walls are closing in
Without a sense of confidence
And I'm convinced that there is just too much pressure to take
I felt this way before
SO IN SECURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEE
CRAWLING IN MY SKIN
THESE WOUNDS THEY WILL NOT HEAL
FEAR IS HOW I FALL
CONFUSING WHAT IS REAL
CRAWLING IN MY SKIN
THESE WOUNDS THEY WILL NOT HEAL
FEAR IS HOW I FALL
CONFUSING
CONFUSING WHAT IS REAL

I am inclined to concur with Shadowiii. I dunno, maybe it's just the fact that Linkin Park are just another one of those bands out now that alternately scream angrily and vocalize with fake emotion. Not many people really have soul anymore. But I'll do some kareoke, anyway. Though it ain't no Linkin Park.
I met her in a club down in old Soho
Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry Cola
C-O-L-A Cola
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance
I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said Lola
L-O-L-A Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lo-laaa
Well I'm not the world's most physical guy
But when she sqeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine
Oh my Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lo-laaaa
Well I'm not dumb but I can't understand
Why she walked like a woman but talked like a man
Oh my Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lo-laaaa
Well we drank champagne and danced all night
Under electric candlelight
She picked me up and sat me on her knee
And said "Dear boy, won't you come home with me?"
Well I'm not the world's most passionate guy
But when I looked in her eyes well I almost fell for my Lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lo-laaaaaa
Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lo-laaaa
I pushed her away, I walked to the door
I fell to the floor, I got down on my knees
Then I looked at her and she at me
Well that's the way that I want it to stay
And I always want it to be that way for my Lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo Lola
Girl will be boys and boys will be girls
It's a mixed up muddled up shook up world except for Lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo Lola
Well I left home just a week before
And I'd never ever kissed a woman before
But Lola smiled and took me by the hand
And said "Dear boy, I'm gonna make you a man"
Well I'm not the world's most masculine man
But I know what I am and I'm glad that I'm a man
And so is Lola
Lo-lo-lo-lo Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lo-laaaa
Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lo-laaa
Thank you, thank you! That was "Lola," by the Kinks, one of the best bands ever, and one of the main influences of the punk movement. Which means they're an indirect influnece on . . . Linkin Park! Fancy that! Well, I guess it means that everyone here is going to have to go out and buy some Kinks right now. Go. Do it. Now, dammit! (if that's offensive, Setu, feel free to exert the powers of moderation upon it). _________________ UP DOWN UP DOWN LEFT LEFT RIGHT RIGHT A B START |

Maybe if they wrote something other than generic angst that sounds like it's from some lame 13 year old's journal they'd be okay. _________________ Locked

I agree with Iblis. I mean, all their songs have basically the same lyrics, and it's like they switch around what's happening during the song that you have no idea what point they're trying to get across. If they rhyme "heal", "feel", and "real" one more time, I'm going to kill myself. _________________ insert myspace link here. |

So, you've broadened the definition of "karaoke" to include Copy and Pasting lyrics from a lyric site? _________________ You got film in my video game!

Proof that Linkin Park is TEH SUX is the fact that, when someone starts singing one of their "songs," I hear all three (or were there more than three) of their singles. In otherwords, ALL OF THEIR SONGS SOUND THE SAME. I mean, I love music, and I can tell the difference between one good song and another just by listening to the guitar solo (or other insturmental part). With LP, I hear a song, and I can't tell which one it is. I really mean it. Their songs LITERALLY sound the same.
Now, to be fair, I must say that there are many other bands whose every song sounds identical. Unfortunately, I cannot name them, since I get this really icky feeling when I attempt to listen to the stupid, thin, depth-lacking, unthoughtful, soulless, fake-angst-ridden, and utterly talentless crap that said bands turn out and call "music."
Listen to David Bowie, Led Zepplin, the Kinks, the Who, Neil Young, Creeedence Clearwater Revival, Crosby Stills and Nash, and the Pretenders, and you will see the light.
Yes, I feel superior to people who listen to bad music. So sue me. _________________ UP DOWN UP DOWN LEFT LEFT RIGHT RIGHT A B START |

I didn't copy! You can't make me say it! I didn't. Linkin Park is my favourite band. So I kind of get excited for them. I like their style of Rock/ Screaming/ Hip-Hop/ Electric.
And guys. I don't care if you think that Linkin Park sucks, or you think that they're repitive. I think they're good. All 6 of them. So hey, everyone out there, I do not care. Go ahead and treat me like sh*t on CP (not anything new), I don't care. Really. But Squall's cool. Go Squall!
Anyway:
SHUT UP!
SHUT UP!
SHUT UP!
SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKIN' TO YOU!
SHUT UP!
SHUT UP!
SHUT UP!
SHUT UPPPPP!!!
I'M ABOUT TO BREAK!
Haha.
Metallica's pretty sweet, too. Oh, and Me, I really have no idea what bands/ singers you are talking about.

Ya know what, guys? If you don't like Linkin Park, then don't post in this thread. There's no need to do this. If someone likes a certain group and wants to post about them, that's not against the law.
I'm not particularly a LP fan, although I do think their music is creative, but it's just wrong to sit here and flame someone's favorite group and make them look foolish for liking them.
Please be nice. _________________

No, the people who posted in this thread weren't doing anything wrong. Just like how some people have posted saying they like the band, others have posted their opinions stating that they don't like the band. As long as nobody starting flaming each other, then all is fine.
So... Heh. You know, I'm not entirely sure what the heck Linkin Park really is. I've always known it was a band, but I've never heard a song by them... Don't know what they people look like, or even know how long they've been around. I've never been a fan of music in North America, and I don't watch TV or pay attention to what others are doing while I'm at shcool.
So, what the heck do I listen to? Well, I listen to foreign stuff... Particularly stuff from Japan. I post MP3s weekly on my site, you ought to check it out . Good ol' Japanese songs... |

Iblis, Lucier, Shabowii and Me- F*ck you. You snobbish pricks. Are you that arrogant that you think all music has to be some entirely original poetic song from the artist's heart for you to like the stuff? "Cheese n' Rice", people.
[EDIT] Although i must say, a linkin park kareoke thread is quite, quite sad.
And now, i shall sing 'session'
" "
