Moonlight is being made so that I can learn and grow off of it's given experience.
I am only 13 years old, and have little to no experience in most game related fields (music, graphics, etc.) I am also very new to the OHR, so making a quick, complete game should help further my skills.
Everything I use in my games is usually 100% original so I feel it is necessary for me to do as much as I can to better my self in each field.
Any criticism given will (more than likely) be taken into full account.
Starting this sunday I will post updates (and demos) of Moonlight, I would appreciate it if you try the game whenever I release it. |

First criticism would probably to stick with one game, because you can get more done that way and delve into deeper realms than just the beginning of the game. Game development can take a long time, especially if you like to do other things (*cough*). _________________

Start out by making a short game. Aim for about an hour.
You can make epics after you have more experience. |

I hope I am interpreting this correctly, do you mean I should work on only one game so that I can accomplish more and criticism will have a higher affect?
If so then that would be one of the reasons I am now working on just one game. |

This is exactly what I aim for in Moonlight.
Edit: Sorry for the double post. |

It's not quite sunday, but I've uploaded demo 1 of Moonlight.
It has only about two minutes of gameplay, but considering I have a title screen and a good bit of graphics done, I'm satisfied!
Here are some screens:
The game is really short right now, but I hope to have at least 8 minutes of gemeplay on demo 2. |

I like the greyscale graphics and the way you've handled them. The only real flaw in this 2 minute demo is that it is somewhat buggy when entering areas new areas, most notably passability goofs in some areas. _________________

Most of that will (hopefully) be fixed in demo 2. |

I have had waaaaaaaaaaay less time then I hoped for, so I won't be able to make the next demo 8 minutes long.
It only has about 30 seconds of extra gameplay as it stands.
But demo 3 WILL have:
-Music (Original)
-All wall bugs fixed.
-And, hopefully another minute of gameplay. |

Maptiles: Good
Walkabouts: not so much
Plotscripting: Better than mine I assure you.
Really good for a first game. |

Really, original music? It's neat that new users would try their hand at that too. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Is there anyway I could improve my walkabouts?

Thanks, but I can't promise you it will be good.
I'm going to be away from my PC for a while, so demo 3 will have to wait until next sunday. |
