Why did you make the trees look worse?

I think they look better.

But... the original ones had details, the new ones were just assaulted with the airbrush tool.

I guess I could give them more detail. Raspberry!

I'm with PHC on this one, the first trees were better.
And this isn't the game with all the CP people in it right?

That game is in RPGmaker. I still think it should have been in OHR, sut Hatz has done a lot of work on it already, so the wisest thing would be to stay the course, friend.

Also: Make the trees smoother. Like PHC mentioned about the airbrush tool assault... Matter made simple: Don't use the airbrush tool if you can avoid it. Better to do it pixel by pixel, buddy. Try a pattern. They usually look better than random pixel messes.

And the key to making tiles less griddy, I found, is: Be sure that pixels on the sides of the tile frame are not paralel to pixels on the opposite sides. ESPECIALLY IN THE OPPOSITE ANGLES. The angles count double. Nothing like showing the observer where the tile corners are.

That should unclump your leaves nicely.

From what I've seen in the screen shots he sent me, he's got all of the characters' stats, spells, portraits, and other things done. I also saw some maps and junk. That would be a shame to toss out. Then again, there have been worse rehashes... Take "Red Turtle" by Rinku.

It's up to RM, if he truly is still with us.
